With fair ref and fair judges, Usyk would find a way to beat anyone. None of the greats ever gave up as much size and weight as Usyk gave up tonight against a historically great champ like Fury. I think prime Usyk would find a way to beat all of them, Ali included. I’d never bet against Usyk. He’s smart, tough and has an ATG gas tank. He deserves all the accolades he’s getting and deserved a wider victory on the cards than he was given. He overcame a corrupt ref, judges and a monstrously big opponent tonight. Fury came into this fight knowing he was facing his toughest opponent. He was right. Historic fight and great performance by both men.
First time? Nah. Second time? Honestly, nah. Spinks outworked him in the majority of rounds, even though he got his bell rung a few times.
They both came from the Cruiserweight Division and they both beat bigger guys to become the Undisputed World H.W. Champions. So Amazing!
Nah Holyfield still rates above Usyk P4P because his Heavyweight resume is too deep he has wins over Bowe, Holmes, Tyson, Foreman, Mercer, Douglas, Thomas, Dokes, etc. Usyk would need to beat winner of Zhang vs Wilder and Parker then i would rate him above Holyfield. Usyk has a slightly better Cruiserweight resume but Heavyweight resume it's no contest Usyk needs 1 or 2 more notable wins at Heavyweight for me.
Depends on what you like. Usyk has the deeper resume at CW. Holyfield has the deeper HW resume. It depends on whether or not you think Usyk's CW and HW resumes makes for a better overall resume than Holyfield's overall resume.
Usyk is miles better and he is the best. He is also a clean athlete, unlike Holyfield who was a clear JUICE user.
Holy was a PEDs cheat, a dirty fighter in the ring, and his most notable wins were against aged, shot or fat fighters like Douglas, Holmes, Foreman, and Tyson. And he has an unsightly, though in fairness, mostly past prime, ten losses. Uysk is the one who is undefeated, and something very special.
Absolutely. Usyk is one of the best fighters of his era. He won the CW titles by fighting in his opponents backyards. Holyfield had the advantage of always fighting at home. Makes a huge difference when it comes to judging, as Usyk needed to be more dominant when the fights went the distance.
Lol Holyfield beat Bowe. That is more impressive than anything Usyk will ever do at heavyweight. I would say Holyfield beating a old Larry Holmes and old Foreman is better than Usyk beating a fat overrated Fury and slow robotic mentally broken Anthony Joshua.
No.No it isn't. Bowe is a guy who should have lost to Tony Tubbs, and should have three DQs. He isn't that good.
