Get a grip he clearly won round 2 and then there were plenty of tight rounds. It's like you've only given Fury any rounds if he completely battered and/or schooled Usyk in them. Give over.

    1 & 2 were solidly for Usyk.

You don't have a clue and aye Fury was up in the first til the last 10 15 seconds Usyk got a few overhand lefts in. It's actually baffling how biased and pathetic people on here are.

Like I don't begrudge Usyk getting the win at all, and he's definitely been a better ambassador for the sport but it was nip and tuck and if anything swung it it was that knock down. Both men had clear rounds, Fury had more clear rounds but he also got dropped, you come on here and you'd think it was a walk in the park for Usyk.

mate, what is even going on here?
2-7 are fury rounds? what the ****ery christ are you talking about?
by the 8th it was level 4-4. after the 6th fury thought he was in the ascendancy. then usyk spins it on it's head. doesnt look knackered. starts to follow the left round the corner after he throws his jab or variation of a 1-2 to the body. breaks fury's nose then the knockdown 9th and the strong 10th round after...usyk was cruising. he cant lose now. mathmatically.

this is sour straws or clutching at grapes.

What did Usyk do in round 2 to clearly win it.

The good thing is, I know you will keep having that end of the 9th round running in your head over and over. That's right, your Gypsy King was battered to a bloody pulp by a middleweight midget and the referee had to save him. Keep replaying that 9th round in your mind, buddy. Sweet dreams.

The ropes held Fury up multiple times in the round prior to the ref stepping in with about 8-9 seconds left in the round - plenty of time left for Uysk to land definitive, fight ending punches.

It was a case of either let Usyk continue the battering - as the ref had already allowed/afforded Fury - OR, stop the fight.

nobody is saying usyk had it easy. fury looks like the great rapid monster he threatened to be after he started to flex his wings. landing the uppercut and the huge body shots. but by the 7th and 8th usyk had gave him new angles. especially after the very cagey first few rounds which i was more happy for usyks 1-2's to the body.

but this idea that it could be a draw is outrageous.

No I gave him the rounds he won, Usyk won rounds 1,2 & 3 followed by rounds 8 thru 12. And even though the end of round 7 was the turning point in the fight in Usyk's favor, I still scored that round for Fury.
