Joe will die trying and he will rock Fury with some hooks, and on my ATG list which is not based on H2H he ranks way higher than Fury, but the physical discrepancy is simply insurmountable, IMO.
After 13th round Fury would be over, and Frazier would stop him. Jack O'Halloran was not even elite contender and he was faster, stronger and harder puncher than Fury.
Fury ran out of gas tonight and Frazier is a better hitter than Usyk, so over 15 I give Frazier a good chance. Fury’s best bet is to sit down on his punches and hurt Frazier. I thought Fury had the key with the uppercut against the shorter man tonight and that should work well against Frazier. Possibility that the size is just too much though.
The 5'11 Andy Ruiz beat Anthony Joshua. The 6'1 Alexander Povetkin knocked out the 6'8 David Price. The 6'1 47 year old Holyfield almost beat the 6'10 Nikolai Valuev but Frazier is too short to beat Tyson Fury? Lol Frazier breaks down Fury and stops him with body shots.
The funny thing is that O'Halloran was better than Fury. The more funny thing is that there were tons of 200 pound boxers from that time frame that were better than Usyk. If Fury would of fought doing that time frame he would have tons of losses. Fury is so bad that he couldn't even look good against a 40 year old shot Wlad Klitschko. Could you imagine any legit heavyweight great landing only 86 punches in 12 rounds against a washed up Wlad?
1969-1971 Frazier gets made bumpy over the first four rounds, after that it's entirely his show. Fury just never had the punching power to hurt Frazier. By the tenth round he's been knocked down twice, and is getting beaten all over the ring. Joe just can't seem to miss with the hook at this point. Ref mercifully stops it. I'm actually kind of shocked people have picked Fury (though I happen to have a lot of respect for the man after the three Wilder fights).
Ruiz outweighed Joshua and is different stylistically to Frazier. Frazier is a pure inside fighter, which is a style that becomes significantly harder to execute when your opponent is so much bigger and stronger, while Ruiz is a close to mid range type guy. Povetkin is also a close to mid range type guy Holyfield could be a boxer, brawler, inside fighter. Frazier was just an pressure/inside fighter. A damn good pressure fighter, but a damn small one for today aswell.
You're right, he did arguably lose to Ngannou lol. But using that line of logic then him struggling so much with Ngannou would've meant that he would never beat a guy like Klitschko yet he did. Also Ngannou is a huge man.
