The ropes held Fury up multiple times in the round prior to the ref stepping in with about 8-9 seconds left in the round - plenty of time left for Uysk to land definitive, fight ending punches.

It was a case of either let Usyk continue the battering - as the ref had already allowed/afforded Fury - OR, stop the fight.

nobody is saying usyk had it easy. fury looks like the great rapid monster he threatened to be after he started to flex his wings. landing the uppercut and the huge body shots. but by the 7th and 8th usyk had gave him new angles. especially after the very cagey first few rounds which i was more happy for usyks 1-2's to the body.

but this idea that it could be a draw is outrageous.

No I gave him the rounds he won, Usyk won rounds 1,2 & 3 followed by rounds 8 thru 12. And even though the end of round 7 was the turning point in the fight in Usyk's favor, I still scored that round for Fury.

Pretty impressive post fight press conference for a guy with a broken jaw.

Fury won round 2, 4, 5, 6 and that's it. If you push it, maybe, MAYBE you can give him 7 if you are VERY generous. Giving him potentially 8 rounds with what you think were tight ones - lol. You don't know how scoring boxing matches work. Not surprising, Fury fanboys are not very knowledgeable.

Anybody who thinks this was a draw needs mental help. Usyk won this 8-4, 7-5 Usyk best for Fury. Fury lost, get over it.

Usyk was fine at the post fight conference it seemed. He took some heavy shots but kept coming, like a true champion.

I think we can dismiss the broken jaw reports outright. Probably a rumor started by Miniq, John Fury, and a few drunken travelers.

You could get to 6-6 if you were giving Fury the benefit of the doubt in every single close round. But, even then, the KD in the ninth seals it for Usyk.

Crazy to think that Fury had almost 30 pound weight advantage over Usyk and yet Usyk not only beat him but almost KO’d him as well.

    Really shows Usyk’s greatness.
