This wasn't a close fight at all. Fury clearly lost, and should have been stopped. He 100% doesn't deserve the rematch and he won't be getting it. Maybe if he rematch Klitschko first, than Usyk would give him one.
The AJ fanboys are out of hiding. Just because Usyk beat Fury, they are behaving like AJ beat Fury. That fight has not happened yet.
The reason most people like Usyk is because he takes hard fights. The only fanbase with a motive for Usyk to retire are AJ ones. Usyk has a rematch to honour, and ideally wipe out Wilder for good measure. Why you'd want him to retire before giving us those great fights is beyond me...
Nope. AJ almost got KTFO by old man Wlad. He got KTFO by Big Tubby Andy. He got embarrassed by Usyk twice. And Usyk who embarrassed him barely squeaked out a decision over Fury. Prime Parker beat today's Joshua too.
Not going to happen. Just like Fury has honored his rematch with Klitschko, Usyk should do him the same. Wilder is nobody, and he is not even in the same league with Usyk. Usyk is 37,5 years old. He will be 38. He is on a big decline, and should not fight anylonger. He is already given all the advantages in the world, and they try to rob him on top of that every single fight. He is fighting against his opponent, the ref, the judges, and all of the Boxing industry that tries to rob him. The best move from him is to retire undefeated. Any fans of Usyk should want that, and not fight till 40 and lose to guys he would have beaten with ease in his prime. I know you want Usyk to lose, and hope that AJ lose as well, but ain't happening.
It's a fight I'd like to see as I expect it to be filled with drama. Fury clearly has the skills to out box Joshua but Fury does switch off at times and Joshua is a hellacious puncher and unlike Wilder knows how to finish, so while I have always favoured Fury in this match up, I do think it would be one hell of a fight. So for me Fury is still the number 2 of this era with Joshua the clear number 3. Number 4 of this era is up for debate though Parker is the current front runner for me.
Why would I want Usyk to lose? I'm a fan and want to see more fights. Wouldn't mind seeing AJ kiss the canvas a few more times though, when's he going to fight someone in the top 5? I'll wait.
AJ is currently number 3, but I doubt he stays there long if he doesn't step up his competition soon.
