Let's say he fights Wilder 3 times as he did.

After the Wilder fights, whom should he have fought? Joyce (pre Zhang)? Kabayel? Zhang?

His best wins are Wlad, Wilder x 2 and Chisora x 1. The other decent one is the Wallin one. That's only 4-5 wins.

 

Post Wilder he should have taken on the best which Fury is in fault, probably past it now.

 

Fury has perhaps earned $250 million in the second half of his career. He hardly made much money in the first half of his career. You will hardly call that a failure

 

After the Wilder fights (Actually after the second one) I Would have had him publicly apologize to Wlad for not rematching him. Then offer that rematch with an adequate amount of time for Wlad to prepare. Then fight him at a venue of his choice Hey… woulda been better late than never.

 

100% he couldn't have managed his career better then he did, fighting for 10's of millions a fight now, if he took a major risk before he got to that level he wouldn't have ever been making this sort of money (assuming he would have lost one).

 

Oh so this is going to be the new pro fury narrative. He’s made heaps of money so he wins.

Stop hating on the guy.
He is the 3rd best HW of this generation. If he wants to prove himself as the second best, he needs to fight AJ.

 

If he needs to prove himself as the 3rd he has a few guys to tick off as well.
