He definitely fights Usyk in a rematch.

But i wouldn’t put it past him to fight a lower level opponent in a warm up. Or even pull out of the rematch.

If he loses to Usyk in the rematch which I think he does then he retires.

I think he swerves the AJ fight as well at this point and just retires.

Usyk and AJ will be his last two of which he'll lose both imo.

I have been thinking about this since the fight but I still can't decide which option I'd prefer. On the one hand, boxing would be a much better place without him and his toxic entourage for sure. On the other hand, I'd love Usyk to beat him to a barely conscious, bloody pulp again, but this time without the referee interfering and saving the fat one.

During the post fight interview, Fury said he wanted the rematch in October. But then about half an hour later, at the post fight presser, he changed his mind again, and stated that he wasn't committing to the rematch, as he needed time at home to think things over. When he does think things over, and he's analyze this fight, he'll realize that he did the best he could (his own words) and fell short (and might have actually been KO'd in the 9th, depending on how the ref played it), and that he will most likely do worse in the rematch based on his body degradation and his high probability of NOT staying in shape for what will amount to 13 months (since he and Usyk started training originally). So, maybe he'll opt for a few 'tune ups" for easy money, and retire a 'winner".

Next logical question: Is Fury smart?

Fury should retire after October when I think he will lose again. Too much heavy blows taken by Wilder, Ngannou and Usyk. His brain couldnt hold beyond imo.

Usyk instead should retire within 2 or 3 years undefeated and undisputed to make history and enter the 5 best HWs ever

I think he’s really going to have his hands full keeping his weight down and head in an ok place post retirement, even in such a dangerous, head injury filled, sport he’s imo best carrying on for about as long as he sensibly can.

Tyson knows he can beat Usyk, and he is a proud man. I think he will have a desire to avenge this loss, his only loss, against the only man to ever beat him. This is a very new experience for Fury, to lose a boxing match. I have to imagine he would want to right this wrong and have another go with Usyk.

None of the current heavyweight top guys should retire. Once they do, the division is finished. No one can sell Kabayel and Hrgovic fights.

No prospects and future big names in the division now.

In my opinion, Fury would still clown AJ if he showed up in the same shape he did tonight, so why have that fight in London? Can he beat Usyk In a rematch? Probably not, but there is still $50m+ within his reach.

Fury was as serious as they get on tonight's fight. Idk how he could "take the rematch more seriously". He moved a lot, jabbed a lot, and was focused throughout. Usyk was better

For both fighters the most sensible thing to do is retire, money talks though but for legacy sakes especially on Usyk's side surely they have to seriously consider walking out at the top.
