Does he?? Oh thanks for clearing that up, that a career long heavyweight puncher, has heavier hands than a boxer who started his pro career at cruiserweight. Are you here all week?

2-2 after 4, 5-2 after 7 and I was thought Usyk was completely done. 6-6 after 12 with Fury taking the 12th and Usyk winning with the KD.

I haven’t seen a heavyweight fight like this since the 90s!
    Great show.
    Let’s see it again.

What a guy usyk is, thought he was ready to be broken down but just kept coming. Fury also was brilliant those first 7.

I'm gonna have to watch it again, because tbh I struggled to give uysk any of those first 3 rounds that many others are giving him, he was walking forward but he wasn't landing much and Fury was countering well landing better shots. If you view it like that a draw or point win Fury would have been OK, but those I know those rnds were very close and can make an argument for scoring it usyk easily

It’s not hardest punch wins. If that was the case you could just decide it on a punch machine.

Wilder may punch harder but Usyk’s shot selection is 1000x better, he tires opponents out, draws them in them pounces. He’s relentless with pressure in the championship rounds and finds angles Fury didn’t even know existed.

    Morning all.
Great fight. Edge of the seat stuff. Great advert for the sport we love.
Can I just say some cracking points being made about the fight in this thread all very knowledgeable. Reminds me of the good old days before the trolls.

Your obviously a Fury fan. If u want to give him it then that's up to u.
I thought it was close and could of gone either way.
The 7th in everyone else's card, here and in the general forum had it close, some gave it fury, some draw, some usyk.
It was a close round ziggy.

Also I agree that on some cards it could be a lot closer than I scored it as there was some rds that were close.

    My hot takes.

I gave Fury 4 perhaps 5 rounds. Maybe uncontious bias because I wanted Usyk to win. The judges perhaps swung the other way since the Turkey or whatever his name is clearly Furys Man. The Judge who gave it to Tyson however
    Usyk a clear winner.

WTF was John doing in the corner. Was not taking too much notice of the ring walks so first I knew was him bellowing instructions. One voice and that should be Sugar Hill. Would not have helped at all. Total liability.

What did we make of Matt Christie on Sky? Do enjoy his podcast

Enjoy the weather and the footie today and have a beer and burger for me if your firing up the bbq!

People more clued up than me - why does Fury look so fleshy in the ring? His huge belt seems to lift up the spare flab, is that all it is?

That is what he was left with after coming down from 27 stone.

He will need to spend some of his loot on a few tucks.

Aye, understand that, it just seems a lot worse with the ring gear on. He looks skinny in a tracksuit!
