Looking at the judges scorecards, the Spanish judge who had it 115-112 Usyk scored the 3rd and 4th rounds to Usyk. Scoring the 3rd round to Usyk is one thing, as that was a round that I think we can all agree presumably could be given to Usyk, as it was quite close. But the 4th to Usyk? That I would take exception with. On the other hand, the judge that scored the match for Fury gave Fury the 11th and the 12th, whilst scoring the 3rd for Usyk.

I would take more exception with the Spanish judge who scored the 4th in favor of Usyk than the judge who scored the 11th in favor of Fury as it seems that the 11th is recognized as a close round by a good amount of people, perhaps a round that Usyk edged, but a round that could presumably be argued for Fury, moreso at least than Usyk for the 4th, which seemed to be a round that everyone agrees was clearly Fury's.

All the judges did give Fury the 7th and the 12th, which is not unreasonable, though this puts me at odds with the judges as I scored the 7th for Usyk, noting that it was Fury's round until the very end when Usyk in my mind did well to swing the round in his favor.

I think it's reasonable to value an uppercut more than jabs or lighter punches, which is why Fury took 4-5-6. However, I felt Usyk parried most of Fury s shots in 1-2-3, which is why I gave those to Usyk. Might have to re-watch it later for those early rounds, but I doubt it changes my outcome

Fury arguably won Rd 3 and 12 otherwise most the rounds were kinda clear. The standing 10 KD was clear.

    Rewatched it,
    1-2 Usyk
    3 close Usyk
    4-6 Fury
    7 close Fury
    8-11 Usyk
    12 close Usyk
    8-4 for Usyk
    So
    117-111 for Usyk
If we give all close rounds to Fury
115-113 for Usyk is the closest you get

8-4 Usyk with the KD, so 116-111.

I had that as well. Gave Fury 4th to the 6th, the 12th and a share of the 7th. The 9th was a 10-8 so it seemed pretty clear to me.

Those who think they can find 7 rounds to give to Fury simply don't know how to score boxing. Usyk won a bare minimum of 7 rounds, including a KD—that's already 115-112 to Usyk, but it's overly generous to give Fury 5 rounds. You should watch the fight without commentary and crowd noise. Fury's showboating and making faces made you all think he was doing great. Usyk landed more power shots in at least 7 rounds and was the one pushing the action in all but rounds 4, 5, and 6. The only right conclusion is that Usyk won by a bare minimum of 3 points. Trying to make it a draw is a joke, and claiming Fury won is a robbery. Anyone who says that shouldn't watch boxing, as they simply don't understand how it is scored.

I’m baffled so many people had Fury winning any of the first 3 rounds. I also thought Usyk pretty clearly won round 12.

I think Usyk doesn’t get properly credited by judges at heavyweight sometimes because of the perception he’s the lighter puncher. The reality is that not only does he usually outland and outwork the opponent, but he does it while boxing on the front foot and exhibiting ring generalship. Fury for the most part in those rounds was backing off, letting Usyk impose himself, AND getting outlanded to boot. I think sometimes despite all evidence to the contrary, Fury gets given too much credit for landing a few counters because of the assumption his punches are somehow more meaningful.

The first round was close. Fury landed some body shots. Usyk landed a clean left to the chin.

Lol, 4-6 were the only clear Fury rds, 1,2 and 8-11 were clear Usyk rds (obviously with thee 10-8 9th) and 3,7 and 12 could've gone either way, so at the absolute best it was 7-5 Usyk if you give Fury all the close rounds.

When i scored it live i had it 115-112 Usyk but re-watched it this morning without the Fury biased commentary and scored it 116-11 Usyk.

    1. Usyk clean
    2. Usyk clean
    3. Usyk
    4. Fury
    5. Fury clean
    6. Fury clean
    7. Usyk
    8. Usyk clean
9 Usyk super clean KD and should be KO
    10 Usyk clean
    11 Usyk clean
    12 Usyk clean

This was a 9-3, or 8-4 at worst type of fight + the KD. Same like the AJ fights, but this is much more older and washed Usyk up.

And how are people ignoring Usyk body work? Usyk was hitting straight left to the body all night, but people somehow try to ignore it. This is equal to power punch, so it has the same weight, as other Fury power punches to the body. Whether it's a straight or hook/uppercut it's still an equal power punch.

First 3 rounds are out of question Usyk rounds.

7 rounds to 5 rounds in favour of Usyk.

115-112. Almost identical to the Spanish judge, except he gave round 2 to Fury and round 4 to Usyk.
