Why because they follow through with what is in their rules? should they be more like the WBC who changes their mind constantly and blatantly protects fighters from facing certain mandatories for 3+ years?

fury vs usyk 2 wont happen in october is my guess. IBF is strick with manadtories though it's hard to become undisputed with obligations.

even if he doesnt have the IBF belt anymore everyone would still consider him the undisputed champ.

 

It seems ridiculous to me that the IBF would sanction Fury vs Usyk, knowing that there is a two fight deal and then strip the winner of the title for honouring that deal.

They should let the two fights go ahead.

They will also lose credibility by recognising someone else as the champion.

 

They did it to Tyson Fury after he beat Wlad six days later. Let's see if they set a new record with Usyk.
