I understand what fans are saying. They are not disputing the rules, they are saying the ref should have called the fight right then and there. I don't agree with that perspective.

I ain't a Usyk fan, I guess I'm a fury hater though as I take exception to hypocritical bull shitters.. Guilty!!

I disagree about usyk fans being cry babies though, the only tears they are shedding are tears of joy. The fury fellatio fan club are the ones crying tears of sadness and heart ache as they didn't see this coming. Ha Ha Ha

I mean we can clearly see it was the correct call. Great experience showed by the referee.

Fury quite clearly didn't need to be stopped, he was capable of continuing since he continued.

I wanted Usyk to win very badly and he did. But come on! You claiming that if rolls were reversed, the ref would have stopped the fight as if it were fact. Nobody knows what would have happened in that situation. Ref may have given Usyk the same consideration. I personally don't see what all the controversy is all about. I see it as, Fury got a better, longer ass whoopin. LOL

I'll happily watch it again, one of the best fights I've ever seen. But Fury didn't get knocked out, he went down and was given a count, he was clearly able to continue since he did continue.

This is boxing man, people are allowed to get punched in the face lol.

Issue was, ref shouldn't have interfered and allowed Usyk to finish it. He was trying to finish Fury back there. Fury was in fact already held by the ropes earlier.

    Bell save Fury ass
If Usyk got 30 more second he will be murder him.

End of the day they dont cheat and Usyk win (I think he win at last 115-112 or 116-111)

I think fight is really clear if You compare this to my (or our) expectation.

The ref both helped and hurt Fury. The ref could have jumped in with a standing 8 count much earlier, saving Fury from further punishment -- that hurt Fury. But the ref also saved him rather than letting Usyk finish him, which he was about to do.

In any case, I'm highly, highly against a stoppage in title fights, especially when the guy being beat on is a champ. Give the champ the benefit of the doubt, give him an extra few seconds to try to survive.

Non-title fight, and neither guy has an unbroken 0? Absolutely stop things quickly and save accumulated damage. But when it's really on the line? Let it play out.

That’s what I thought , you don’t stop the action he was on his way to Stopping him.And I picked Fury to win but old boy showed what a ATG does and that’s adapt and never give up.

Too much on the line to stop the fight. The ref did the right thing allowing it to continue.

This is yet another example of fans trying to create controversy when there was none. The ref did a fine job, stepping in and giving Fury a standing 8 count when he did was perfect refereeing, yet according to some allowing it to continue was the scandal of the century, which is totally insane.
