fury last night was rocked HARD. he has now been knocked down in his last three fights and they look they are beginning to tell on him. i am in mind that he is beginning to become like ali in that he is becoming more and more easier to hit . yes he still has great recuprative powers, but damage is being done.
    what do you guys think?

It's the sparring shots he's taken that we don't see also

I know for a fact Fury has been in some big sparring wars in his career. Plenty of times John has been there shouting at him for being stupid and that the sparring is over only for Tyson to say no keep going.

Wilder 3 is the biggest example of taking horrible damage through a fight that isn't life changing...but that 3x...+ all the other knockdowns and sparring. Sadly the fate for many boxers especially at HW is not good. Fury has to get out after this rematch or his fate will be a sad SAD one....but with his mental issues leaving the sport could equally lead to a sad fate. I don't see a happy ending for Fury. It's terrible.

Marquez was dropped often but never stopped or slowed because of it.
I dont think its the kd but the damage from a war.
Hagler slowed after Hearns and Mugabi. Pac slowed after Margarito. He wasnt dropped but did get hurt a few time.
Vargas faded quickly cause of the beatings imo more than the ko's.
I think Usyk is alowing down a lot as well due to his fights with AJ and Fury along with his age.
He should retire as well now.

good response and thank you for reminding me of the sparring sessions of which i forgot to include. while your devotion to fury has always gave me chuckles, that you are honest in this regard on fury's future. wish you and him good luck!

Fury has indeed taken a lot of unnecessary damage, and Wilder 3 is a good example. If he showed up in shape for Wilder 3, he would have won easily instead of going life and death.

Well if he was better defensively he wouldn't get repeatedly hit by a one dimensional windmill winging fighter like Wilder, the excuses are coming thick and fast for fury fans....they are in total meltdown now...
That 9th round though.........it gets better every time I watch it.

I don't agree with most of the fecal matter you post on here but I do agree with the last few paragraphs , It won't end well with fury as his ego, head and body took a hammering, the only way is down unless he has a eureka moment and reinvents himself. The last thing he wants is to wind up like his dad

Tyson Fury was knocked down by light punching Nevin Pajkic and light punching blown up cruiser weight Steve Cunnigham years before he faced Wilder and these other guys.

Fury just can't take a punch welll

I literally know no other boxer of his caliber that has been dropped so often just by playing around and underestimating his opponents.
He gets put on his ass time in time again and does not want to learn, he probably in his mind believe that those are all slips and that he was not hurt anyway.

He's definitely taken a lot of damage in his career, but nobody knows how it will affect him later on in life.

Wladimir got knocked down like 15x in his career but still seems as sharp as ever mentally. But then you have someone like Bowe who got knocked down far less but is struggling badly later in life because of the amount of shots he took in every fight.

Win or lose, fighters always leave a little bit of themselves in the ring after a knock-down-drag out battle.

It would be unusual if the Wilder trilogy didn't have a cumulative effect on Fury.

Well I assume that happens to every boxer. The more you get hit the more your body breaks down. The more you get knocked down the more likely you are to get knocked down again. The only boxers I can think of this didn't happen to were Larry Holmes, George Foreman and Oliver McCall.

So Fury isn't as durable now as he was some years back.
