    Round 2

Usyk blasts him answering the bell. Aggressive start from Usyk, backing Fury into a corner. Fury tries prying his way loose with the uppercut, but can't find the aim with it. Usyk is caging his face between his forearms and now letting any of Fury's left jabs through. Usyk is throwing away pairs of jabs up top in order to keep Fury fixated on them, then plugging the left cross into the chest. Fury scoops in a shallow underhanded right hand, not enough of a low parabola to even call it an uppercut. Fury forking out a jab from a side-on stance. Usyk tries a combo past the Fury jab and is caught by a partially blocked Fury uppercut. Fury grins.

    10-9 Usyk

    20-18 Usyk

52% to 18% edge in accuracy for Usyk, my goodness what a stat that is.

    Round 3

Usyk is pressuring the bigger man, outspeeding and outlanding him. Fury content to lay back, seemingly wanting to play the counter puncher but not able to locate his target reliably. Usyk too quick, using too many altitude changes, and covering his movement with fluid combinations. Fury with some hip shots and forearm clubs on the way into clinches, roughing Usyk up somewhat but not scoring cleanly on many legal areas. Usyk ropes out four straight punches in a row with Fury leaning against the ropes trying in vain to dodge.

    10-9 Usyk

    Round 4

Usyk is catching Fury's jab on his wrists, still advancing but not punching first as Fury keeps letting both hands go. Fury whipping some underhanded rights at the body while paddling Usyk's guard with the jab. Usyk reaches in with some straight shots downstairs but can't reach past the long outstretched jabbing arm of Fury as the British super heavy dances in reverse. Fury switches to southpaw. A couple of right hooks get through for Fury. Clinch. Fury leaning in and grabbing at and then repelling Usyk to throw a damper on his combos. Double jab and right hand by Fury, crashing in and knocking Usyk's gloves back into his face. Fury backed into a corner. Usyk opens up with a body salvo but it all hits arms. Fury flicking backhanded jabs off his hip, and rakes Usyk with an uppercut stepping by.

    10-9 Fury

    Round 5

Usyk is watching out for the Fury jab, trying to trap it between his gloves - but getting hit repeatedly with Fury's right shovel uppercut on the body. Fury is looking confident now, coming forward, stuffing more of those body uppercuts behind the high double jab. Borderline low blow. Usyk is looking more uncomfortable than I can remember seeing him professionally in this round. 1-2 by Fury, blocked but almost bursting through Usyk's guard. The jab alone is keeping Usyk's gloves pinned high and clearing a lane for the Fury uppercut downstairs. Terrible round for Usyk. Fury now sneaking a few jabs into the face as well.

    10-9 Fury

Richie Woodhall at this point has Fury up 48-47, having given him round two as well.

    Round 6

Usyk is still struggling to solve the puzzle Fury began to lay out for him in the fourth & fifth rounds. Fury actually stuns Usyk with an uppercut - and then does it again! The uppercuts are landing on the body and causing Usyk to scamper away, and now Fury is bashing a left hook around the near thumb into the right ear of Usyk as well. Whipping hooks on either side of the head by Fury roaring out of a corner from a cockily reclined position at the bell. This now supercedes the previous round as the worst of Usyk's pro career IMO.

    10-9 Fury

    Round 7

Usyk blocks a few looping rights from Fury and then gets ragdolled in a couple of clinches close together. First minute has been a continuation of Fury acting like he's the boss. Usyk starts to diligently knife away up top with his southpaw jab, carving down Fury's shielding left arm. A few straight lefts on the body from Usyk. Fury gets in another of those backfoot counter uppercuts. Usyk keeps pressing in undeterred. Usyk is blocking as Fury tosses lazy shoeshines backing up. Usyk with a couple of nice combinations down the stretch, including a double chopping left hand.

    10-9 Usyk, close but clear

    Round 8

Usyk is crowding Fury, watching out for that uppercut now, using a rollicking ocean wave side to side rhythm as he slides in and keeps feeding Fury a steady flow of right jabs in multiples. Usyk snapping Fury's head back with the line drive left. Fury can't gain much breathing space with his left jab, and is now busted open.

    10-9 Usyk

"I think Usyk nicked that round, but..."

    Golly, these Brits. :shakehead:

After the sixth one of them (Carl something) said they didn't see how Usyk possibly could claw his way back into it. :trolldeltesoro:

Woodhall has Fury up by two at this point.

Where did you get those accuracy figures from?

The Compubox had it 41.8% to 31.7% Overall in favor of Usyk :

In Round 2, it was 57.7% to 32.5%. Total punches landed 15 to 13 in favor of Usyk.

Usyk had a significant % advantage, about 10% higher overall, but I don't know where you're getting that 52% to 18% figure from.

The total punches landed were 170 -157 in favor of Usyk. That's a good indicator of how close it actually was, the total punches landed were not that one-sided in favor of Usyk. Especially when you consider that Round 10 saw Usyk landing 12 more punches in that round, which nearly amounts for the entire difference in total punches landed. So if you remove Round 10 from the equation, Usyk only landed 1 more punch in the other 11 rounds.

According to Compubox, Fury outlanded Usyk in Round 1, 3, 4, 5 and 6. And it has Usyk outlanding Fury by only a single punch in round 7 and 11. Round 11 saw Usyk and Fury with an identical % landed in jabs and power punches, with Usyk a slight overall % advantage due to throwing and landing 1 more punch.

Overall, Compubox has Fury outjabbing Usyk 62-48, but Usyk outjabbing Fury to the body 29-6.

Meanwhile Usyk had a power punching advantage 122-95, while power punching body shots were nearly even 41-40 in favor of Usyk.

Total body shots landed were 70-46 in favor of Usyk.

    Round 9

Usyk is harrassing with the jab and Fury now diving in to clinch. Usyk waving a right hook up top, getting batted away. Fury drilling in with a straight right but Usyk catches most of it. Fury slips a few jabs against the ropes, and tries blocking with his right forearm when Usyk lowers the jab to aim for the chest, but Usyk tattooing around in different spots so that a couple land for every one blocked. Usyk peppering Fury across the ring from one set of ropes to another. Big left hand by Usyk belts Fury across the mandible. Fury tries some body shots reaching in and is hurt by a two-piece. Usyk pounces on him. Fury not recovered. Several punches connect. 11-12 unanswered from Usyk with Fury wobbling around the ring, finally held upright by the middle ropes and given a ten-count by Mark Nelson. Fury beats it and is saved by the bell.

    10-8 Usyk

Well you could use context clues to figure out that I'm watching the British broadcast of the fight, and that they showed that stat in an onscreen graphic after the second round.

So all of what you typed has nothing to do with what I posted. :sisi1 Those were the accuracy numbers in the first two rounds, at least as reported by Sky Spots.

    Round 10

Usyk is nailing Fury with the 1-2 and 1-2-3, keeping him in retreat. Fury avoiding the ropes and corners, trying a flicking jab off the hip. Usyk is tossing a couple of shots up top bringing the guard up and then ripping the now exopsed belly of Fury with a hook. Usyk gets Fury trapped in a corner but eases off, letting Fury jab his way out. Usyk drops his gloves by his knees, taunting a little perhaps, taking a breather. 1-2 downstairs by Usyk. Fury sits in a corner, back against the padded turnbuckle and underarms resting on the top rope, making a show of being able to slip Usyk's combos, but not daring do it for more than a second before dashing off toward open water. Fury just pawing out a jab, inching away, surviving. Big left by Usyk.

    10-9 Usyk
