Fury should rematch Usyk for the money (and lose again). Then Usyk can decide who his favourite son is between the two of them so he can read them a bedtime story at night.
Fury vs AJ would mean a lot more if Fury is able to beat Usyk in the rematch. A Fury Usyk rematch is warranted. If Fury loses the rematch, then AJ and Fury will have something in common, losing to Usyk 2x. If Fury loses to Usyk again, then Fury vs AJ would make sense as a domestic scrap in London, not in Saudi. Then they would potentially be fighting for the right to earn a 3rd fight with Usyk.
Fury will retire for awhile until Usyk retires. Then he will unretire. Thing is, it won't have anything left, and he will get beat by the next Pianeta-Schwarz he picks on.
I wonder if he'll get a smaller % of the split in the rematch? Might make him reluctant to take it if so.
It's so weird how boxing fans would rather denigrate an ex champion than celebrate a great new undisputed one. Fury struggled with Ngannou FFS. Anyone not trolling who thinks this was prime Fury is completely out of their mind and not to be taken seriously.
Usyk is nearly 38 years old FFS. He's not closer to his prime than Fury. He's not further away either. It's probably pretty close in that area.
Every modern heavyweight is compared to the 90's and 70's. Those two era's are standouts, but other than those two HW has been fairly mediocre. Current era isn't historically weak. It fairs pretty well against most era's.
Usyk's best wins at HW are flabby giant who got beat by a UFC fighter in his pro fight debut. And a Body Builder who got the beat down of his life by a hippopotamus before his decisioned him. Let that sink in...
He did way better troll, simply cause he faced a lot version of Usyk, when he was 34 and 35 years old. But you don't have the brain capacity to get that.
Same exact score as you on rewatch. Only 4,5,6 are clear Fury rounds. 7 and 12 are toss ups. Fury only had 3 good rounds. He did very, very little before those 3 rounds or after those 3 rounds. Usyk completely adjusted and Fury had no plan B
