I watched it twice and came to the same conclusion. The pivotal round was the 11thr round which could have been scored both ways, although Fury landed more punches in that round. Overall, I am happy with the judges decision because Usky was the man making the fight and hurting Fury badly in the 9th round. But I would not have complained if the judges gave it to Fury by round. Good faire scorecards in the end and a good impartial referee in my opinion who did not stop the fight in the 9th round. In the end boxing wins. In order to win a rematch, Fury would have to be in even better shape and lose another 5-10 pounds.
Muhahhahahah. Round 11 was clear Usyk round. He landed more + hardest and cleaner shots. And Usyk outland Fury, so nice try lying again. Also Usyk land 2x more power punches in Round 11. Nice try as i said. This was 118-110 fight. Watch something else, as Usyk dominates Fury. The only real rounds Fury won was 5 and 6. And he have a case for the 3rd. Not a single round prior or after was even remotely close. Usyk dominates.
I think 11 was Usyks. Fury won 4,5,6 2;3,7,12 were close Usyk won 1,8,9;10,11 Only path to victory for Fury is giving him all those close rounds. I dont think he won all of them, maybe 2 or 3 max but you sfill end up with 115-112 or 114-113 due to the kd. Right man won.
I won't going over the rounds as i think you are clearly wrong on 2,7 and 12 as close ones, as they weren't. Especially second round, which was Usyk clear round, but if we talk about close rounds, you give them to the guy that control the fight and is the effective aggressor, which was Usyk. He controlled the fight, pushed the pace and they fought his fight, also Usyk clearly land the cleaner, harder shots. This ain't even debatable. So even if we somehow agree that there was close round(only the 3rd actually), they should be Usyk rounds. Also rewatch Round 4. This ain't Fury round. This is Usyk. It's just the media and commentators bias that cloud some people view.
At best, like if you gave every close round to Fury, he won 5 rounds. That’s the absolute best case you can make for Fury. That would make it 115 - 112. I had it 116 - 111. And then there is the not insignificant matter of the referee not stopping the fight when he could justifiably have done so.
The reality of the matter is the fight should have been stopped as a round 9 TKO. If there was any doubt, the referee saved Fury in the 9th. Simple as that. On points, I had the fight close to even without the knockdown though. I agree though the fight was closer than some people made it out to be.
I scored ut last night 116 - 112 for usyk. I had it 7 - 4 and one even round and then you have the kd 4, 5, 6 clear for fury but I don't know who is giving fury the opening three and any of the last 3. Possibly give him one of the opening 3 but I don't think he won anything after round 8
I think since Usyk got the KD and did more hurt, he'll always deserve it even if enough close rounds could conceivably be squeezed for Fury. The problem round here isn't that the right man didn't win it's that people are acting like it wasn't a competitive fight and that somehow Fury was exposed and they were right all along etc. The truth is that all the people who claimed Fury was hype/garbage and Usyk would run through him, humiliate him, destroy him, make easy work of him and all the rest were actually wrong. That's not what happened at all. It was a close points win for Usyk in a tough fight where he also took damage. Make this fight before the last two wars Fury had (Wilder 3/Ngannou) and it's probably even closer or possibly a different outcome. Usyk winning is good in many ways. But the bad thing about Fury losing is the lift it gives to Hearn/AJ as it somewhat salvages their brand.
Can't you speak in a normal manner? I am neither a fan of Fury or Usyk. I probably have been following boxing longer than you are alive kido. Your scorecard is outlandish compared to the officials and seems biased.
First watch (alcohol infused) = 6-6 with the knockdown swaying things. Second watch (sober) = 7-5. Usyk won the first three. No chance Fury won.
Incorrect. Fury threw more. Usyk landed more. Usyk landed more power punches. This content is protected The pivotal rounds were the 7th and 8th - because Fury had dominated the 5th and 6th in terms of punches landed, power punches landed and aggression... The 7th and 8th were where Usyk turned it around, taking back over on every metric in the 8th. The honest truth is that this was a close fight within each round (with the exception of 8, 9 and 10 where Usyk dominated massively - edit: and 5 & 6 which Fury clearly dominated) but in terms of rounds won, it was a clear Usyk win. In other words, it was competitive, but it should have been a UD and a fairly wide one at that, an 8-4 or 7-5 fight, nowhere near a 6-6.
