Spinks by KO. Different level of fighter. Opetaia is there to be hit. Spinks would eventually get to him and punish him.

Jai southpaw stance and movement would trouble Spinks early but Briedis showed Jai is vulnerable to right hand. Spink Jinx before the 10 rd .

    Lol.
Briedis who punches like a mule could not stop him despite breaking his jaw, but somehow Spinks will.

The only big guy guy he stopped was coke addict, shot Cooney. He did not put Holmes down even once.

Spinks best punch is the southpaw huckleberry. I'm not sure if he stops Jai but I think he outboxes him either way.

aside: I didn't know much about Jai Opetaia until his first Breidis fight then went backwards watching some other fights. I actually like him a lot. I think he could fit into the HW mix like literally right now.

Holmes was only stopped once in 70+ fights by a prime Mike Tyson at age 38 after coming off a 2 year lay off.

I don't think not being able to stop or drop a much bigger very durable Larry Holmes is a negative......

Also Spinks would be fighting Opetai at Cruiserweight not Heavyweight hence Spinks's power would be more of a factor.

You should see what Spinks did to Marvin Johnson who was Southpaw with one uppercut that sounded like a shotgun.

It is not a positive either.
Opetaia is about 30 pounds bigger in the ring than Johnson. Briedis punches harder than the vast majority of LHW.
The uppercut Spinks landed would not have dropped let alone stopped Opetaia.

Well it's irrelevant because Holmes is a far greater fighter than Opetai and Opetai has had 0 fights at Heavyweight. Not to mention Holmes is one of the most durable Heavyweights between 210-220 of all time.

So again I don't really understand the point you're making ? It has no substance.

I never said Spinks would necessarily drop Opetai with the same punch but Spinks is more noted for his one punch power than Breidis is.

Plus the fight would be taking place at Cruiserweight Spinks was a huge Light Heavyweight, and would still have the power and physical presence to trouble Opetai if he lands often enough.

Holmes in his prime is the same size as Opetaia. Being "greater" says nothing about the chin.
You haven't prove that at all. Why did you even mention Marvin Johnson, a LHW?
He really wasn't. Fought at MW at the Olympics, weighed as low as 172 as a LHW.
Shilstone and PEDs got him to HW.
Opetaia has got enough power to badly hurt Spinks too.
The opposite is also true. The straight left is lethal against orthodox fighters.

Spinks is 6'2 with a 76 inch reach which is exactly the same dimensions as Opetai, Spinks also weighed as high as 212 pounds when he campaigned at Heavyweight. He certainly has the physical presence and power to trouble Opetai.

Opetai has never stopped or shown stand out power against an elite opponent, so there is no evidence to back up your claim that Opetai can seriously trouble Spinks with his power.

I already gave you examples of Holmes being extremely durable I was just pointing out he was a great and a Heavyweight.

Literally no evidence Spinks can trouble Opetaia. Marvin Johnson would be a small LHW in 2024.
