keep doing what he did through rounds 4 to 7, he was picking Usyk apart at one point, body and head. but he couldn't maintain it and slowed in round 8 enough for Usyk to get back in the fight. Maybe Usyk just had too much will, Fury seemed to fade a bit, and looking at his face after that beating in round 9, he was done. Its miraculous he was able to finish the fight. You have to wonder about the mental scars as well, he will have to overcome a lot to beat Usyk at this point.

Many people are making out this was a bit of a comfortable mismatch. Usyk had to dig in massively. Coin toss who wins a rematch, even if Fury fights the same way.

If Fury hadn’t got careless and shipped that Shot that bust his nose I think he’d have continued on to victory. That really put him out his stride and gave Usyk renewed optimism.

Usyk was brilliant but can easily see Fury beating him.

I don't think we will see the rematch. And if we do I can't see Fury being in great shape again.

Fury must have trained his hardest in years to get in shape for Usyk. He won't be able to comprehend how the mighty gypsy king was beaten after putting in a full training camp.

Being beaten will have badly knocked his confidence. Nearly all great boxers get beat and come back stronger. Will Fury be able to do the same? I personally doubt it as throughout his career he has always taken the easiest path unless he gets forced into it.

As you say better off taking centre ring and working off the jab. Was a strange start by Fury trying to skirt around the edge like back in the day. As soon as he decided to assert himself in the middle he took over a bit.

I dont think Tysons mentality will be a problem in the rematch because he thought he won the fight. He doesn't need to do a lot more than he did to win so I cant see him making drastic changes to the gameplay.

I'm not convinced we'll see a rematch, but if it happens I think he's just got to cut the bull****, keep the family at home, and train harder than he ever has done, and hope Usyk ages quicker than he does. It's only his size that levels the playing field, ability wise they're world's apart, and always will be. So yeah, come in at 20 stone and hope for the best.

I believe he would do what he did to Wilder in their second fight, just put it straight on him from the opening bell, he will be kicking himself when he watches it back, when he went to Usyks body in the fifth it had a tremendous impact, that is how i believe it will go next time, if we get a next time that is.

I think you're possibly right. If it follows the pattern last time, Fury getting over a shock and a fight he thought he won (Wilder and Wallin) and changes to a more aggressive style and gets it done. This time it's Ngannou and Usyk.

The question is, can he pull it off a second time given the miles on the clock? Usyk isn't Wilder either, there's nothing to say he wouldn't adjust for a second fight as well.

Clean out all the hangers on in his camp would be a good start.

If Fury can do what he did in rounds 3-6 then I think he can stop Usyk. Never seen Usyk like that before and he was feeling every punch landed even in his arms.

I think if Fury builds on the fitness he has now, just tapers off for a few weeks then gets back at it stays a bit more focused, keeps his hands up when backing away from exchanges and follows up when he has Usyk hurt he's got it in the bag.

“he was bossing the fight until his nose broke” is starting to sound like “Dubois was winning until the eye injury” “Kell Brook was outboxing him until his face shattered”

Exactly this. He should build on that, still a very tough ask though.
