Great post I don't disagree with anything you said I just don't like when people rubbish older eras and say everything now is superior when it isn't. There is advantages and disadvantages in both eras and I could see mixed results from both eras if they were transported into the past and future.
Uhh the difference is Ali beat 30 ranked Heavyweights and beat atleast 5 Heavyweights who are considered ATGs far more proven don't you think ? Ali beat 10 times as many ranked fighters as Fury!!!!!! Just stop my guy Fury is not an ATG no matter how many mental gymnastics you try and pull. I know you're gonna keep replying as you like to do to drag out conversation but this is my last reply I've proven without a doubt you're wrong end of. End of discussion.
He's a top 20 heavyweight at least and the best of the post Klitschko era who beat the previous champ who had been undefeated for over a decade and has beat the other top dog of the division and based on eye test was better then Joshua just because he's inconsistent doesn't mean he's not an ATG.
Ali is not Fury. He is faster. Has better stamina. Has a better work rate. Has a better chin. Has better offense. Has better footwork. Has better reflexes. Is a harder puncher (he stopped many durable fighters where Fury has not). Usyk will give Ali MANY problems, but I think Ali's speed, jab, reflexes & adaptability will help him scrape a decision. Very tough fight for Ali.
David haye beat valuev, does he fit the criteria of an all time great? I'm not saying usyk isn't a very good fighter possibly great but sometimes we as fans can go overboard. Prime Ali had All time great hand and foot speed, had a great chin and the heart of a lion IF usyk beats him he will have a much harder time than he did again AJ fury and chisora
