He won't up greater, simply because he is already the best HW on the planet, and another Fury win, adds absolutely nothing to his resume and legacy. He is also almost 38 years old, and people on here, for obvious reason as they pray him losing, to start calling him he was never that good, and to pull mental gymnastics, how he was still in his prime. Curious though same people are saying that Mike Tyson, who actually posses incredible power, which could finish every fight with a swing of it, was somehow way past his prime being just 30 years old. And what was for Roy Jones JR? At 35 and 36 years old, he was shot to s***, right? His speed was nowhere to be seen, but you see for Usyk he is still as good as when he was 30. AJ fight is completely different. Did you even though of that he was looking to go for Undisputed, and he didn't have an option to skip the rematch. He actually tried to make Undisputed, but Fury ducked the fight at that time. This is well documented. He is Undisputed now and has nothing to gain, and he can just say enough and throw the rematch into the bin, by just retiring.
And if you had used your brain little troll, you would have understand that he was almost robbed of the card. Winning 9-3 or 10-2, as you put it out, just to get the narrowest SD you can get. And the 10-2 is the AI scoring, which even you with your mental gymnastics could argue with, cause it's not just punches landing, and impactful one, but also measure aggression, pressure, domination, and your second hero, as you i'm certain was a Wilder fanboy, and jump onto Fury bandwagon, after your boy get smashed, you couldn't pull anything than, eh i gave Fury the first and the second round, cause Fury was showboating. I measure this as Ring Generalship. The moment you say that, you lost even the negative authority you have. But i never expect anything from negative IQ person, who though that Canelo won against Bivol, when he was dominated 10-2 rounds, and even this 2 rounds are a stretch for Canelo.
I am a fan of both fighters and it was a close fight. The fight was basically a draw but if I had to pick a winner I would give it to Usyk. Fury can win the rematch if they have one.
LOL now you're just making stuff up. I was never a Wilder fanboy, keeping clutching at straws though. If you've been paying attention, I made it abundantly clear that I gave Usyk Round 1 and gave Fury Round 2 while stating that I was very conflicted about how to score Round 2. I said you *could* give Fury Rounds 1-3 on Ring Generalship due to the landed punches being about even, as a response to those who said that you could give the late rounds to Usyk on Effective Aggression, which I agreed with. Effective Aggression and Ring Generalship are 2 of the 4 scoring criteria. So you're misrepresenting what I said and how I scored those rounds. My stance, to be clear, if that Rounds 1-3 were each very close and hard to score. The problem isn't if you scored 1-3 to Usyk but if you claim that those were "Clear" Usyk rounds or easy to score. Further, the biggest problem with your RBR scoring is your statement that Round 4 was a "Clear" Usyk round, which if anything was a "Clear" Fury round. LOL when did I ever say that I thought Canelo won against Bivol? I made it very clear that I scored the fight for Bivol, while pointing out that 1-4 were close and arguably Canelo rounds. I made it very clear that 5 rounds were the most you could reasonably score for Canelo, and that the 7 rounds Bivol won were clearly his rounds. So you're misrepresenting my stances on numerous issues. Your view of Fury Usyk reminds me of many people's view of Canelo Bivol, who went out of their way to make a close fight into a blowout, and then being terrified of a rematch, because you know a rematch could expose your view of how one-sided you thought it was.
I don't get why you think that way. Just because he has reached his ceiling and proven he is the best doesn't mean he couldn't still do more. That should be obvious. Did Pacquiao have to fight Margarito in his 8th division when he was still the only 7 division title holder, right after he had destroyed Oscar, Hatton and Cotto ? He didn't have to, but he did it anyway. Did Archie Moore have to rule the Light Heavyweight division for 10 years after he won the title at 36 (could have even been 39), after waiting so long for his shot ? Many other fighters have done great things that they didn't have to do because they had already cemented themselves as greats. But they did it anyway, and it elevated them even further. Another Fury win would do even more wonders for his ATG standing. And I doubt that Usyk would care what people on a forum or social media say about his age and prime. It should be obvious to everyone that the Usyk that fought at Cruiserweight 6 years ago was a better fighter than he is now.
rematch him in dec. he just went through a 9 month camp and a taxing fight, he needs 3 months of rest. the man is not in his 20s. well rested with a proper camp and he stops fury within 7.
No you are not. If you were actually biased, you would have it as any sane person, 8-4, 9-3, 10-2. But i don't care arguing with people who are trying to pretend to be fans, just to put weight onto their opinion. No one is going to take you seriously.
In my opinion it was close to a draw fight. With conventional scoring maybe Usyk edged out quite a few rounds but let’s put it this way Usyk was not so dominant that I would bet money on him to win the rematch. They are pretty evenly matched and I think either guy could win it it’s close to 50/50 imo.
When someone tells you that a 10-2 Uysk scorecard would be legit you can dismiss that person as a troll or an imbecile.
It's extremely difficult to assess how good/great Fury is/was because he ran from anybody decent. He beat an old Wlad and then ran away from AJ and Usyk. How good is Fury? I don't know. Hard to say. Never fought a top fighter in their prime. He ducked everybody.
I always said that he never had the confidence to match his ability. Laughably he ducked Price when he was British champ and he was his number 1 contender. People laughed when I said that later on because of obvious it was with hindsight that he would have beaten Price had they actually fought as pros but Tyson vacated the belt rather than accept a career high purse to defend against him. Then there was the Ustinov debacle wherein he very publicly cried off after seeing Ustinov's size at the weigh in. Again ridiculous but true. Fury was great if you could get him in the ring but wanted the most money for least resistance. I never really rated Wilder that highly and he was even worse than Fury resume wise and had to be tricked into accepting a fight against possum Fury who made out like he wanted a final payday.
