That has nothing to do with the current standings

That's too long ago, and with the ref in AJs back pocket. You can't pick and choose what you want from Fury's or AJs history in a blatantly biased manner and claim you've made some witty point. Which is what most AJ bootlickers are doing.

More recent are AJs three defeats - one to Tub of Goo Andy. AJ evened up his loss to Ruiz to 1-1, nothing more. In Eddie's world, that means AJ is the "winner"
As for Parker, I think current Parker - with a neutral ref AND judges - gives team AJ a run for their money.

    Their 'full' resumes:

    Joshua:

Klitschko (old, coming off loss but in good shape)
    Povetkin (old but still good)
    Parker
    Whyte
    Ruiz
    Pulev (old)

    Ls: Usykx2, Ruiz

Beat Wallin and Ngannou easily and stopped them without losing rounds

    Fury:
    Klitschko (old)
    Whyte (Off the juice)
    Wilder
    Chisora

Ls: None officially but well known robbery vs McDermot when Fury was 21

Struggled massively with Ngannou and Wallin

And Ruiz defeat in 2019, aka 5 years ago, is not too long ago, h? Parker wins was in 2018. Or is that you are a Fury fan, and just trying to nitpick on AJ resume.
You just lost your credibility with the more recent 3 defeats, which in reality are 2 recent defeats to 1 guy only, aka the Undisputed GOAT CW Usyk, who is also one of the most skilled fighter in the entire world. Same guy your hero ducked for straight 2 years, and needed to age out till he is 37,5 years old so he can fight him, and even that is not certain.

And you also somehow managed to forget that Parker has lost after AJ have lost to Usyk, and Parker have lost to a lot lesser contender to Usyk in Joyce, and also via KO.

And here where the difference is. AJ has run it back with Ruiz straight away, and won that fight 12-0, showing it was just a lucky punch that concussed AJ, when he goes for the kill against Ruiz who was down.
Parker didn't even for once hurt Joyce, neither he was infront of the scorecard, correct me if i'm wrong.

Parker also has very close fights with Ruiz, which could have very well goes to Ruiz way, same with Chisora 1, and hell even a close one with Hughie Fury.
Also Parker never avenge even one of his losses, and his loses are to 3 different guys. AJ has just 1 unavenged loss, and that's to Usyk.
It doesn't help Parker case that one is against Whyte, same guy AJ beat. Given Parker - Whyte was a close fight i though Parker won, and Whyte should have been deducted a point for the headbutt, and Parker should have been given time to recover, as that headbutt changed the fight.

And as far as AJ - Parker goes. This wasn't a close fight, and the ref didn't help AJ at all. Parker has none inside game, and is not dangerous in the close range. And AJ is a monster in there. Ref was just incompetent, as he essentially didn't allow AJ vicious combos, hooks, uppercut to be thrown. As AJ of that time was the best combination puncher in the world.
So how the f**** the ref helps AJ in that fight, only AJ haters knows.

As far as AJ - Parker fight today. This will be an easier fight for AJ. Parker is tons slower with his hands, and even with his feet, and his feints won't work against AJ.
I hope they fight again and i think they will if Parker beat Zhang again.
Here is the deal with AJ, we don't have to guess how this or that fight would go out, as he is fighting the best, unlike some other pretenders in the division.

P.P. I wonder what was your prediction on AJ - Ngannou ? Didn't you see after the Fury fight, that Ngannou - AJ will be very competitive, and Ngannou may KO AJ out ?

P.P.2. And the reason for AJ - Ruiz 3 to lose interest is not AJ, it's Ruiz, who is literally ruined after AJ schooled him. Highly inactive, going up and down in weight, prolly already lost every bit of durability and speed he once have. Good luck selling that fight to the public.

Look, Usyk, Belly, AJ and J-Park are unquestionably the top 4 and if you believe AJ and J-Park should switch places based off J-Park having beaten the #2 and #3 ranked HWs in his last 2 fights and AJ having only beaten 1 top 10 ranked HW in his last 4 fights it's certainly a compelling argument.

Yes, AJ has a win over J-Park but Whyte, Big Joe Joyce and arguably Hughie beat that version of J-Park or a better version too and seeing as no one who has actually beaten AJ has beaten the ''real AJ'' and endless excuses are made for all of his losses, none of which are remotely controversial other than the scandalous card in his favour in Usyk II or the way too close one in the first fight, where he was having to overcome huge disadvantages or was fighting on a deck heavily stacked against him like Usyk was when he beat him (or to a lesser extent J-Park was when he lost to him) given the huge size disparity between AJ and Usyk and Usyk's inactivity going into the first fight, why doesn't the same rule apply to J-Park? Surely AJ doesn't deserve any credit for beating that version of J-Park, right?

The audacity of that wide boy snake E-Hearn claiming that AJ is the best HW on the planet and The Baddest Man on the Planet after he beat a rank novice statue who in E-Hearn's own words even after Belly vs Ngannou could lose to anyone in the top 100 when AJ also got his ass whooped x 2 by Usyk who is the one who had everything heavily stacked against him not AJ is pathetic and nauseating in equal measure.

I see you snake Eddie. I see you and I know how your type slithers through the grass. I hope your golden goose AJ gets KTFO in his next fight because, as said, there isn't a parallel universe, reality or dimension where AJ would ever have to face Usyk twice, let alone three times.

Who is rating him this high? I respect Joshuas record and what he bring to the division but he holds no belt. Our belt holders are 1 and 2. With the winner being an undisputed champion.

My rating remains the same, especially after that 3 round spell where Fury outboxed, hurt, and looked like he might stop Usyk.

A lot of impressive elements to a losing effort by Fury against Usyk.

Not me. Joshua had no claims to being number 2 back in March when this thread was made and still hasn't.

Anyone who thinks Joshua is number two has drunk too much of the kool aid or really don’t understand how the rankings work. The rankings are based on accomplishment and not feelings, which many here seem to use when ranking fighters.

Neither guy is #2. Fury fans say Fury, Joshua fans say Joshua. But neither guy on recent record should be there.

But if we must compare, Fury and Joshua have 6 mutual opponents of different styles. So let's compare:

Fury SD loss to O. Usyk. Joshua also loses by SD.

Fury SD win over W. Klitschko. Joshua wins by KO.
Fury SD win over F. Ngannou. Joshua wins by KO.
Fury KO win over D. Whyte. Joshua also wins by KO.
Fury UD win over O. Wallin. Joshua wins by KO.
Fury UD win over K. Johnson. Joshua wins by KO.

A common come back regarding Klitschko was he was older when he fought Joshua, well... Usyk was older when he fought Fury.

Usyk #1 (The champ: Fury + Dubois + undefeated)
    Parker #2 (Wilder + Zhang)
    Kabayel #3 (Makhmudov + Sanchez + undefeated)
    Joshua #4 (Wallin + Ngannou)
    Fury #5 (Chisora + Ngannou)

    No need to fan boy

I hate the rating game. This can be easily decided in the ring. Fury wont fight Joshua.

Do you think Usyk is not in his prime? Have you followed his career? He looked the same as he always has.

Fury beat a champion p4p #2 in his back yard who was 39 by UD. Joshua defeated a beltless, two years out of the ring 41 year old and suffered a heavy knockdown in the process.

Glad you've got Kingpin and Ngannou in there. Really analytical stuff here.

Kabayel at #3 is the cherry on top. Great post.
