Derek Chisora vs Joe Joyce is set to headline the O2 Arena in London on July 27

Good fight I'm going with Joyce by a close decision, but it could easily go the other way too.

 

My two favourite current heavyweights but not a fight I look forward too because Chisora needs to retire. He looked awful in recent fights and with his chin, plus heart and Joyce's volume he is going to take a beating.

But I get why they are making the fight. Joyce's options are limited and Chisora still has a name and will draw fans, so this fight makes sense.

Chisora is coming off wins over Pulev and Washington in his last 3 fights. All of these fighters are of similar ages and are names, so if Chisora still feels like he has something left who are we to say he shouldn't get in the ring when boxing is something Dereck still clearly loves?

 

Chisora needs to retire. Does nothing for Joyce.

I'll be rooting for Chisora but would far rather he retired.

I don't think there's a worse fighter for Chisora to face. Joyce's relentless pressure and very hard but not devastating punches are not going to be good for him.

Chisora shouldn't be headlining anything, he looked awful in his last contest.

And Joyce is done too.

Terrible matchup for Chisora. Joyce TKO and it's gonna be sad to watch.

 

I think Chisora has took this fight off the showing of Joyce in his last fight with Kash Ali,we all know Chisora should retire but Chisora and his team no doubt feel they can beat that last version of Joyce .

 

That is why both are fighting each other no doubt .

 

Both need to retire.
