I t will never happen, because in order for the fight to get sanctioned, such a fighter would have to significantly increase their weight somehow.

Then if they somehow prevailed, you woudl argue that they were simply a modern giant, and point out that they weighted as much as George Foreman or whoever.

Okay buddy, you follow that prompt with whatever goofiness you had on your mind and then when you're done I'll teach you third grade physics.

Are we sure that a fighter aren't allowed to weigh under 200 lbs for HW in the pros?

Also, there's no rules I know against wearing heavy clothes and weights in your pockets to put on 10-15 lbs.

I understand that you have to be at least 193 with some sanctioning bodies, but I am not sure how zealously it is enforced.

Punching power stops scaling with size up to a point. Superheavyweights have never hit harder than smaller heavyweights. Thats a myth. If it were true Nikolai Valuev would be the biggest puncher. But he isn't even a mediocre puncher.

That`s insane you could see how much Usyk struggled even with his speed and 78 inch reach, Fury`s arms looked insanely long against Usyk, it looked like a man fighting a boy, Usyk is amazing.

I looked it up, no bodies prohibit significantly lighter men challenging for their titles.

He’s not a small heavyweight himself, average size in the modern era.

He's definitely not average in the modern era. Average historically, sure.

You want to look at the commission rulings. Be very surprised if they let a featherweight fight a heavyweight. If something happened they'd be liable for one thing.

Excellent info Mac. I didn’t think there were official preclusions invoking a lower weight limit for HW but I certainly didn’t know for sure.

Mac did disprove it. Balls in your court to prove there is an actual lower limit - in fact, the burden of proof always resided with the original claim/claimant - not that I’m impugning them at all. They weren’t militant or aggressive re their expressed opinion.
