Right. I don't think I've ever seen Tyson Fury listed anywhere as less than 6'9. And he's a guy that is clearly and demonstrably not 6'9.

    Dude, you're embarrassing yourself.

Give it up and go away for a while.

Moorer was at 175 until he was 23 and then moved up. I’m sure that difficulty in making 175 partly informed his decision, but I’m not sure we can easily say what his in shape weight really was or whether his ‘ideal weight’ suddenly increased 30+ lbs. I’d say more likely he went above his ideal weight to fight at HW.

With Usyk, he went from 178lb to 200lb at age 21. I would say that it’s almost certain that he moved up because he continued to get bigger in his early 20s (some people do and some people don’t) and couldn’t make 178lb anymore. To my eyes, the 205-210lb Usyk at cruiserweight was in peak condition and carrying very little excess weight. I would have to conclude from that, that by the time he was “fully grown” Usyk had the frame of a 210lb man. This is Usyk at cruiser, before he fattened up. With Moorer, we know that he was struggling to make 175lb, but beyond that he was just overweight. There’s not really a benchmark above maybe 190lb for what a really trim Moorer would weigh.

Anyway I’m all for bolstering Usyk’s achievements so I don’t know why I’m arguing with you! What is certain is that he is a small HW in his era.

Gassiev is also listed at 6'3 and Uysk appears to me to be a hair taller. I always thought Gassiev is probably around 6'2 and Usyk a little over. He's close to 6'3 if not exactly.

Thats the upper estimate. The range is anywhere from 6'2 to 6'2 and a half. Its important to quote the full range not just the upper estimate.

Wow, I didn’t know that was a potential byproduct/side effect to taking ADHD meds.

A direct blocking of the very fuel (food) required to be hyperactive - that’s seem like a rather primitive approach. Lol, kidding.

You might well have been very close to your growth plates fusing, preventing further growth - good that you snuck your rightful extra height in.

Yeah, Ernie didn’t look so tall next to Williams. I know I read one article written early in Terrell’s career that listed is height as being 6’4 1/2”. Possibly not quite that low but still something to wonder over.

Yeah, he was never 6'3, you can see that against Chisora.
Between 6'1-2 seems about right and is also why he had to bulk up to just make 100kg.
HWs around 6' are usually fat, Chisora being one of them.
Povetkin was also a bit flabby and still only 100kg.

I'd put Usyk at 6 foot 2 about the same height as David Haye who is also billed as 6 foot 3. Tony Bellew who is a legit 6 foot 3 had about an inch in height on both.

    6ft 3 is about right.

He was a few inches shorter than Joshua and little more short than Fury who is 6ft 7.

    Usyk 6ft 3
    Joshua 6ft 6
    Fury 6ft 7.

David Haye is said to be around 6ft 3, and Bellew looks slightly taller than him, and Usyk is the same height as bellew.

Usyk is somewhere around 6ft 3, definitely no inflation of height unlike Fury.

That would disqualify Muhammad Ali, Ken Norton, Larry Holmes, Sonny Liston
and Joe Frazier. I don’t think many would call them cruisers, I would personally because it doesn’t matter to me much. Cruisers and Heavyweights are the same deal really.

A lot of past HW greats were natural Cruiserweights. It is what it is.

To the limited amount of world level fighters I’ve spoken to it’s really just something you “round about” and pass on apparently no one cares that much.

Which upsets people but it doesn’t change anything, it doesn’t mean they couldn’t be the best heavyweight of this era just that they’d be able to make 200lbs at the weigh in at one stage Deontay Wilder could for example.
