Josh Taylor vs. Jack Catterall II & Paddy Donovan vs. Lewis Ritson + Cully vs. Patera RBR.

I would like to see a third fight at 147 pounds. A third fight would be even better than this one.

I had the first one 8-4 with a KD for Catterall and this one 115-113 for Catterall. Hope they give the undefeated Catterall another shot at the titles

 

Feels like Taylor was robbed, in this fight.

 

Taylor had a great start to his career but is clearly no longer elite, should maybe retire at this point.

 

Taylor is ****ing shot to pieces, he'd get stopped by Florian ****ing Marku at 147.

 

Has leaving Ben Davison gone well for anyone? A couple years ago it seemed Taylor still had solid years left but he killed what was the rest of his career with poor decisions out of the ring from weight to training.

Good scorecards. Taylor literally had not one punch that hurt Catteral and was hitting arms all night.
Cat landed clean effective punches. If he had any power whatsoever he would have ko'd Taylor.

 

I agree with this Josh is dead at the weight at 140 he usually doesn’t react that badly to punches especially from a non puncher like Jack. Even if they catch weight it at 144 I think Taylor beats him.

 

Josh Taylor landed very few clean shots, Catterall kept hitting him flush time after time, and the damage to their faces showed who landed the flush shots.

I don't like scoring rounds because one guy is applying the pressure, why do we not reward fantastic defense from Catterall, he blocked so much of Joshes work.

I usually disagree with the judges but in my opinion 116-112 or 117-111 was the perfect scorecard

 

that's giving JT 3 rounds which is harsh but not impossible. I thought Cat won with many close rounds though many clear cat rounds. 7-5 or so seemed about right

 

Could tell immediately from the commentary. Disappointing. Even if boxing is corrupt (which it is) who the hell benefits from scoring wide for Cat? He is so boring to watch, he will never pick up any fans around the world. Eddie will be losing money on him as long as he lives.
