Closer than I'd have likely had it, but I found some rounds very hard to score (and decided to go pee after the eight and write my score down afterwards, then forgot who I'd scored for - 12th I just couldn't decide). Widest possible score for me is 116-112, and 114-114 is possible.

I gave Jack round two and ended up with cards somewhere from a draw to 115-113.

 

He’s not wrong, but he took away from Jacks moment. I’m not even a big Cat fan but this was wrong.

Some close rounds difficult to score but Caterall had the better skills and cleaner work which is more appealing to the judges. Caterall won the first half of the fight probably 5-1 in rounds then JT did come on in the 2nd half but Caterall was still taking some rounds and clearly hurt JT a few times. For me 116-112 or 115-113 to Caterall would be fair but irrespective the right man won the contest. I don’t think anyone being honest think JT deserved the verdict.

 

His style reminds me of Jezreel Corrales a little bit with his awkwardness but his dense is slicker and he’s haed to hit and a good counter puncher. he fights very smart and conservative that I could see why people wouldn’t like his style.

Catterall clearly has some power if he hurts Josh multiple times and dropped him.

I had it 115-113 Catterall.

While more competitive than Lopez-Taylor, the fight was not particularly difficult to score in my opinion. Catterall landed the more telling shots more often.

Taylor's age-related deterioration is readily apparent. His reflexes/reaction times have slowed, he cannot sustain any kind of high quality offensive output, and his punches don't appear to have the same snap.

The very best of Taylor beats the very best of Catterall, but the Scot's days as an elite, world class operator are over.
