I stopped reading your post after the first word.

 

Classic Hearn at it again. Says he had it 6-5 Catterall going into the 12th (which Taylor won on 2 scorecards) then claims it was 8-4 Catterall. Either he’s talking shyte as per or he can’t add up.

Maths lessons needed at Matchroom HQ as Andy Lee had Taylor winning going into the 12th then thought Catterall won by 2.

 

What a strange take this is, so the scorecards here that were a little wide according to a few people are far worse than the cards that resulted in the wrong man winning and a blatant robbery, weird logic.

2-0 to Catterall , unfortunately for Taylor fans JC has his number, no point running it again imo.

 

IMO the first could have gone either way but in the second Catterall did not win 9 rounds at all.

 

I actually agree with ash i thought josh should have probably won it. Genuinely wanted a cattarell win as well.

The punch stats for a lot of them rounds we,re close. For me tho if your boxing on the backfoot and the punch stats in the round are relatively close....i m not sure you should win that round. The backfoot boxer always has the advantage in a boxing match. It worked for say mayweather....because he ended up outlanding his opponent by big margins. But if your boxing on the backfoot and the punch stats are close. 1 or 2 punches either way. The aggressor should be getting that round.

Pretty subjective tho tbh.

Cattarrell was absolutely robbed that first fight. But the stitch up was in last night with the scorecards and the commentary. Cattarell slowed down with taylors body shots that we,re ignored all night from the commentators on top of andy lees manipulation of the scorecards. Bellew and bob had it right for me. I actually think hearn was sheepish as well and hid it behind the scorecards being wide.

His card was a draw going into the last round. He gave cattarell the last round. So a point up for cattarell...from his own promoter....who,s always been pretty biased.

There have been many examples of Matchroom's broadcasting team not being very sharp. Often they change their scorecards after the fight
