Duran beats any lightweight in history. The mid-to-late 70s Duran was quite arguably the best fighter who ever lived.

I don't see Chavez nor Floyd pulling it off at 135.

 

Floyd’s speed and power at 135 could def give Duran fits though.

 

Chavez imo doesn't beat Carlos Ortiz at lightweight, nevermind Duran.

 

What power? You do know that Floyd only recorded one stoppage at 135, don't you? After hitting Philip Ndou with 10,000 flush right hands.

His other 3 fights at 135 consisted of the GIFT he got in the first Castillo fight, the dull win he recorded in the rematch, and going the distance with Victor Sosa.

Floyd has no case for beating Duran at lightweight. None. Duran would do what Castillo did in the first fight 10x.

 

He never received a gift, he won a close fight with one arm showing how great he was.

Pacquiao didn't have the right hook in early stages of his career which was a major turning point in Morales rivalry. If you compare the 1st fight to the 2nd fight Pacquiao had developed the right hook and was landing it frequently in rematch. I think the issue with Pacquiao in the early stages of his career is that the variety in his offence was more basic despite being a gifted fighter in other aspects.

I truly do believe Pacquiao's absolute peak was between 2006-2010 and during this period is when both Mayweather and Pacquiao should've fought.

But if you want to see the best possible match up between Lomachenko/Pacquiao Super Featherweight would be the weight to have it at it. The Pacquiao that destroyed Morales in their 3rd fight vs Lomachenko who KO'ed Martinez.

 

Loma is a dwarf at 135. you want him at 147?
I dont think Loma dragged him up. I think Rigo was box office poison and Bob was just trying to get value out of him.
Also, there were a ton of posts in here about 'Rigo gonna break his jaw' before the Loma fight.

 

And that is an extremely competitive fight.

i can easily say prime Pacquiao was arguably the best fighter who ever lived. I dont think anyone beats prime Pacquiao. So acting like Pacquiao would stand no chance against Duran is just stupid, Duran literally never beat anyone at LW who was even close to the level of a prime Manny Pacquiao.
