Is Filip Hrgovic next up after Oleksandr Usyk retires?

Nah. Hrgovic needs to step up the quality of his opponents quicker to be in the mix.

 

He'll be in the mix but he's not the kind of guy to dominate a division imo.

 

I thought he lost to Zhang who lost to Parker so……..

 

I think so, he's still basically at prospect level so he's timing it quite well if Usyk retires after beating Fury again.

If Usyk sticks around for a bit longer he'll beat Hrgovic

 

I think so. If he blasts Dubois out we'll know for sure.

It's still difficult to say because somehow we still don't know how good he really is

Did he just have a bad day against Zhang, or does his soul like always leave him when being under pressure

I'll give a charitable assessment.
Now I scored the fight for Zhang, though I will acknowledge he lost his father.
BUT officially he won the fight. So Hrgovic became IBF mando.

First, he is expecting the winner of Usyk v Fury. So he fights a big southpaw, and gets some practice in for either Fury or Usyk = Kean
Kean comes in confident looking to exchange early, but at the first taste of Hrgovoc power, he completely goes into his shell and starts hugging and spoiling. He tries to finally open up to nick it in the 12th, and gets stopped by Hrgovic. - Solid win

Then, his title shot gets delayed again, so he takes a tick over before his shot = De Mori.
In a criminal mismatch, Hrgovic did what was expected and stopped him fast.

Then, it becomes clear he isn't actually going to get title shot as they push ahead with Undisputed, so he lines steps up the level of the opponent to one he can look good against that Usyk already fought = Dubois
Let's see, but I suspect Dubois is about to ship a fair amount of punishment

 

Dubois is a bum, he isn't ever beating anyone good.

I don’t know why people were hyping this guy up. He only fought one top guy, zhang, and he looked awful in that fight
