I wouldn’t put too much stock into Nelson’s excuses. He always an alibi for a loss. He just struggled with the pressure and relentlessness of Fenech in that fight.
Most boxers do have an excuse for a loss or subpar showing. Heaven forbid the opponent had your measure or was better on the night.
I loved having covid. I felt yucky for 2 days and was really sick for three days but I have felt worse and been sicker. Then I slept like a baby for 3 weeks; I had not slept that well since the late 60s.
As to the fight, I don't think that the way Fenech pressured or the way he fought inside would work well against Qawi.
What a well-reasoned response. Is it your contention that everyone who has malaria or COVID or any other medical Malagasy is hit by it just as hard and in the same way? That no one with malaria can function at all? Because it seems doctors and the medial profession disagree. You know some people die of malaria? Does that mean everyone who contracts it dies, lol? Turns out not.In fact, it can be up to a year after infection that symptoms appear leading to diagnosis.
Listen, where I come from, there are Muddy Waters people and there are Howlin' Wolf people. I'm a Howlin' Wolf person, and I don't really think most Muddy people know what's going on. I mean, it's fine, don't get me wrong, it's fine. But it's clearly not the top way to go and these are not the most aware human beings you can find. It's like people who keep consuming rancid and diluted olive oil and they think they're doing something good. But it's because they're like...numbnutted in the brains. Anyway, what I'm saying is, here, it's not like that. I can't say anyone's definitely going like that in the brains with this. That's all I'm saying.
