Will Agit Kabayel become the second ever German to win the heavyweight championship?

I mean, he's not beating Usyk, but Uysk and Fury are both probably retiring soon. He's got good fundamentals, a solid chin, stamina, and he's found his power going to the body.

    I like him.

I like him too. A good solid style and work ethic, and an amiably decent guy. I should hope he'd get a well-deserved title shot within the next 18 months-to two years.

Quite possibly, he is breaking down his peers with body work - that is not something we often see. But, unfortunately, he isn't getting a title shot any time soon as he went the WBC route and they aren't known for pushing the issue.
Saying that, Usyk hinted he'd like to fight until 40...
Or even Fury, if he wins the rematch.

Can either belly eat up the body work that Kabayel will be serving up and dishing out?

Some sources say that Kabayel is a German-born Turkish boxer.

This was a good shout. I saw the Foreman fight on HBO, and then wasn't he screwed again when Botha tested positive?

If you really wanted to get technical, he is Kurdish.

    Born in Germany, thus German.

POST SCRIPT: I appreciate the contribution, but the thread was honestly not meant to be an examination of the complexity of modern day ethnic identities.

    I highly doubt it.

He's a good aggressor by today's standards, but I think he's too flawed to become a genuine Champion. Potentially a titlist, given the division is about to enter a transition phase.

Yeah he beat Foreman and Foreman knew it. Foreman gave his belt up rather than rematch Schulz. Whom Foreman’s camp had hand picked as his first title defense. So Schulz then got a fight with Botha for the vacant strap. That fight was extremely close I thought it could go either way, I thought Axel would win as Schulz closed much better but gave away many early rounds. But then after losing the split decision - Botha did pop for Anabolic steroids and rather than being Dq’d - the fight was a NC. So the belt became vacant yet again this time Schulz had to fight Michael Moorer and he lost clean in my opinion either 8-4 or 7-5.

Yep, Schulz has to be one of the unluckiest heavyweights ever, screwed over twice for the heavyweight titles. I liked Schulz and also like Kayabel, both great underdog stories.

Not sure Kabayel can win a title, he'd need the titles to split as he's not beating Uysk or even Fury or Joshua. But in an era when Martin won a world title, anything is possible.

I like him as a fighter, and I enjoy the game plans he's using to break different fighters down, but I don't quite see him taking a title yet.

Who knows? I liked him beating the **** out of Sanchez. That said, I've heard rumblings that Sanchez was not 100%. Can I watch him a couple of more times?

    Reckon it's possible.

Can certainly see him being top 3-4 in the division thus holding 1 of the 4 titles without necessarily ruling over the heavyweight scene, who that would be once the likes of Fury Usyk Wilder Zhang Joyce retire is anyone's guess.

Parker will probably still be around, as will Hrgovic and Bakole. Anderson too.
