Yes. Fitzsimmons wasn't as good a boxer as Corbett. But Fitzsimmons would do much better in all these modern hypotheticals because his power is something tangible that would translate against a modern opponent. Corbett being a somewhat better boxer than Fitzy or anyone else from his era isn't going to help him against Rocky Marciano.
