He fights so clean... Can you remember him fouling even once? Or even bending the rules a bit? Holding excessively? Hitting after the break? Badmouthing the opponent? Whatever? Sooo many HW champions have their go-to dirty tricks. Ali held by neck, Lewis liked him some rabbit punching, Wlad Hugged... Maybe Vitali Klitschko can compare in terms of fighting clean. Who else?
This is one of the many things i love about him. Great great fighter. I wish he were 32 instead of 37.
Serge been talking about it for long time ''Usyk took up boxing at 15 y/o He didn't even turn pro until he was almost 27 y/o In a 10 year career he has unified the CW division in 15 fights The HW division in 22 fights Winning and unifying all his world titles sans 1 in his opponent's backyards sans his last title which if we're being honest might as well have been in his opponent's backyard He has never had home advantage in a single one of his world title fights or fights at the world level with the exception of once and that was fought in a neighbouring country to his own He has always sought out the best and has never ducked or dodged anyone Not only that but he has routinely sought out the best in their backyards where the deck is stacked against him or heavily against him He wins all his fights via clean boxing. No fouling, no deck-stacking, no ducking certain styles or punchers, no stinking out the joint, no refusing to sign on the dotted line unless the playing field is stacked in his favour He's been exemplary and everything he has achieved amateur and pro has not only been achieved the right and honourable way but it's also been achieved the hard way, treading a path so many others and other greats would never even contemplate treading Apply the aforementioned to your current favs and many of those who came before him and see how the shoe doesn't fit'
The guy is unbelieveble. Can you really ask for more? I'd add that all the world champions he beat were pretty much in their primes and motivated. And he refused to ever fight a typical record padding boxer.
That was a low blow...Clear as day... Fury hit him with many body shots...he didn't drop to the floor and pretend lol...When it's legit, no problems...
You cannot. Yes, every world class opponent he's fought was 36 or younger and let's not forget he just unified the HW division at 37 y/o AJ 31 and 32 Belly 35 Dubois 25 Chisora 36 Gassiev 24 Briedis 33 Huck 32 Glowacki 30 Bellew 35 Hunter 28 Mchunu 28 All of them beaten in their backyards or on the road sans Dubois which was in Poland Belly, AJ II, Mchunu were on neutral soil but the first two weren't really neutral if we're being honest and he was robbed by one of the judges in the AJ fight and also by one of the judges in the Belly fight too He beat 6 of the 7 world champions he's fought in their backyards, the 7th being Belly in Saudi, which, as said, wasn't really neutral
He fights clean, but complains about bodyshots. If you want the true, that's the true. Loma is the same, but his style is more unique.
Any other examples than Dubois (which again, was actually a low blow IMO). I haven't seen all his fights, might have missed something.
