Solid assessment. I reckon Wilder will pull it off between 7-10.

Yeah Parker never really let him set for his right hand in his last fight either. He’ll get chances to throw it against Zhang, well providing he isn’t KO’d himself in the early rounds.

All good. Yeah brings Wilder back to the party if he manages a highlight reel KO.

I still think Zhang, but I did see some recent interviews with Wilder where he's said that he's "going back to basics" and working on his fundamentals. I have always maintained that if Wilder hadn't been so high on his own hype and had listened to his trainers, he'd be something like a heavyweight Tommy Hearns. If his new humbler (and bizzarely more intelligent) persona is for real and he has been doing that, then Zhang could be in trouble.

    I can see this happening.

However, I'm going with Zhang early KO. I think Zhang is a smart enough boxer to be able to avoid the one punch and counter the right hand with that left. And I'll think he'll do it early. But Wilder constantly retreating as before gives me doubts as to how early Zhang KOs him.

I remember Breazeale hurting Wilder in the first before he got laid out. I can imagine Zhang doing so to but finishing the job.

In all honesty though, I have no idea

Quite frankly... neither do I. Either scenario could very well play out. I lean towards my prediction, but Zhang KOing him early, certainly isn't out of the question.

If Wilder can extend the fight into the later rounds then I'm sure he will KO a fatigued Zhang. Fortunately for Wilder, he has made a career of circling the ring and keeping himself out of danger, waiting for the opportunity to explode with his right hand. In many ways Zhang is a perfect matchup for Wilder, and I think the fight will pan out similarly to the Wilder-Ortiz fights, with Wilder getting the KO whilst down on the cards.

70/30 in favor of Zhang. Both guys seem tailor-made for each other and I could see a KO either way. That said, one can't ignore how awful Wilder looked against Parker and the beatings he took against Fury. I think he's finished.

Definitely. I just hope it isn’t Wilder being too cautious doing/landeling nothing for the first 6 like he did against Ortiz 2, because that wasn’t really enjoyable

I hope it's true but it's hard to teach and old dog new tricks.

If I remember right, Wilder had said this before other fights.

It might be true but it seems like once he is out there, if forgets everything and just hopes to launch that right hand rocket.

I'm pulling for him but I think this fight will be decided by KO one way or the other.

I can't see Wilder suddenly become a boxer at this age.

Wilder won't be able to avoid Zhang's power to last until the late rounds. Zhang lands big on pretty much everyone early and Wilder, especially at this point in his career, won't be durable enough to survive.

Wilder can win of course but it'll have to be early, snipe Zhang before Zhang gets to him.

Smart money is on Zhang by KO. Probably within 3.
