And did better against a fresher and more confident Usyk whose body had been able to settle into heavyweight properly :lol::lol:

Is Shane Mosley rated higher than Vernon Forest?

Of course it's 'debatable'. Any boxing related topic is debatable between these particular two. More - so that they fought some similar big names with totally different outcomes for both men.

Ali did have a few more bigger names on his resume. But that's not the be all and end all. The individual fighters who fought them both and the outcomes for both men are a debating point for a start.

You know what I meant. Foreman had a great resume in the 70s but I think Ali did more. Even independent of Ali vs Formeman

I like AJ but he will never be greater than Usyk.

to beat Wilder in the last fights of his career (because he "owes" us that fight), Fury (when the Usyk Vs. Fury story ends), and Usyk.

What if Fury wins the rematch vs Usyk and Joshua knock out Fury?

Is this something that is so farfetched ? You dont think this is a serious possibility?

He needs a time machine and a heart transplant.

The Ruiz loss/quit cost him his legacy. That blew up the Wilder fight and allowed Fury to take the reins.

I wouldn’t rule that out even though I think Fury beating Usyk is unlikely.

But even if it did I would still have Usyk ahead of AJ. That’s no slight on AJ by the way. I rate AJ pretty highly and I think he’d beat Fury.

    I missed your post alert.

Nah, the foreman fight for Ali was absolutely key in Ali's overall career success evaluation, never mind just the 70s.

It was equal or bigger than his Liston bout. Depending on how you look at his career beginnings to throughput, and end expectations.

The Foreman bout very strongly cemented Ali's claim to fame as the greatest. The Rumble in the Jungle magnitude was of HUGE importance for both blokes.

There is no path to AJ > Usyk

Anything AJ does just elevates Usyk even further.

A bit like Charles and Moore.
