I say he won't. His body simply cannot do what he wants it to do after an adult life of booze, coke, PEDs, obesity, yo-yo weight loss, and and the occasional tough fight. I say he grows increasingly more erratic as the months go by, and finally, goes completely off the rails. I wish the man no harm, I take his mental health challenges more or less at face value, and hope for a soft landing, where he merely all at once accepts being a fat ****, or something. What say you?
Nothing to lose, so why wouldn't he make it? Like I said, nothing to lose and everything to gain Usyk is favourite, but a dangerous fight. Might be a trilogy next year, who knows?
Had he won, no way. In that case there would have been maybe Chisora IV and Tom Schwartz II and after those maybe Usyk. Now that he lost I think there's some gypsy pride on the line and there will be no shenanigans.
Since he lost the 1st fight he will do the rematch. If he wins he beat everyone he ever got in a ring with and gets a ton of money. Its not being undefeated but its still a feat only Tunney, Marciano and Lennox acheived at HW. If he loses not a lot changes and he gets a ton of money. The difference between 1 loss and 2 losses doesn't really matter when both losses are to the same person IMO. I think hes more looking to duck AJ. But I think that was assuming he got an Usyk win hes going to use the fact Usyk beat AJ twice to preempt a rematch. If he loses both Usyk fights I think he might take the AJ fight in an attempt to salvage something of his reputation. I agree if he'd won the fight he'd be retired right now and wouldn't care about no rematch.
No I really don't see this fight happening, but Usyk has to play ball until Fury fights him or breaches the rematch clause.
Yeah if he somehow wins, aka via robbery thanks to the judges/referees, he would never fight AJ and risk his "legendary legacy". He maybe tempted to take the fight if he loses again to Usyk, as at the end he will make tons of money in the AJ fight. Not that he already haven't earned tons of money, but a few more is always good to have.
They will fight, the ice has been broken and there is no longer that feeling like before the first fight, both of them met in the ring and there will be no problems for the rematch to take place...
Yeah, I agree. We know this ****s history. Yeah he eventually got in the ring but he thwarted the legend of Usyk for as long as he could. He'll just **** the real king around again.
I think he suffers another mental breakdown and ends up in a Sanitarium and balloons up to 425 pounds. He’s done.
Fury will no doubt be in the gym already trying to correct his first loss and he will be right up for the rematch, what I am more interested in is what changes is he going to make ! The corner was all wrong last time and also gave him duff info, this will be the first thing that gets changed imo.
