Loses to Usyk again in the rematch...then gets knocked out brutally by AJ at Wembley...

    Notable wins -
Beating a washed up Klitschko, refusing to rematch him
Beating Wilder twice (a guy who doesn't known how to box with no stamina)

Some people were calling this guy the GOAT/ATG heavyweight...How much will his legacy fall if he loses 3 straight to Usyk/AJ?

I don’t think it will hurt his legacy too much. People who know the sport will know that both Usyk fights (Especially if Fury gets knocked out) took a lot out of him. I mean when Mike Tyson lost to Williams and then Kevin McBride…. People didn’t put too much stock in those because of the damage he already received from Lewis and other wars.

That Usyk beating Fury got was brutal. He won’t be the same. That 9th round knocked sent Fury’s ****ing memory back five months.

    “HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!:borra2::partyhat:

I think fury’s resume is already in tatters, if he loses again it won’t matter.

If Wilder gets spanked by Zhang early this weekend the resume is already shot.

The Wilder is shot narrative doesn't sell for me as he has no wins against Top heavyweights to start with.

Losing over 35 doesn’t do much damage to your career. And what a great career it was for Fury.

Obviously it wouldn't be great for his legacy and would put him at best 3rd of this era behind Usyk and Joshua. Though some might argue Parker deserves the 4th spot given how easily he handled Wilder in comparison to Fury. Even more so if Zhang beats Wilder as you could argue the Zhang win for Parker is better than any win over Wilder.

If that's how it plays out, with his thin resume I'd argue he'd be in that top 15-25 range of ATG heavyweights.

Well it's not going to be good, is it?
People will remember the end and reframe the rest, just like you did there.

Wlad was old but the fact remains he was undefeated for many years and the massive favourite. Not a single person who makes the argument Wlad was done picked Wlad NOT to KO Fury that night.

Wilder had never been beaten and KO'd every opponent, he's still being ducked by AJ, even at 38. Almost everyone picked him to KO Fury.

All the nonsense written about Fury's big fights are done in hindsight. Otherwise a lot of money would have been made at the betting office.

I forgot about that...Parker made Wilder look like nothing...If a 41 year old Zhang knocks him out easily...Fury's resume will be an even bigger laughing stock...lol

Come on...Wlad was 39 years, 248 days old at the time of the Fury fight...People are calling Usyk (37) and Fury (35) washed up right now and they're 2 and 4 years younger compared to Wlad...

Wilder beat up tomato cans...only notable win was a 39 year old Ortiz (who's mediocre himself)..that rocked him and he barely won...

Klitscko was only "washed" up after fury boxed his nut off

Oh and then Wlad was magically more motivated and better when he bounced AJ off the canvas 2 years later

    lol jokers

If he loses to AJ he gets seen as the third best of the post Wlad era.

He can't go any less than that.
