No big names on this card but mostly well matched contests and providing some decent entertainment thus far.

Main event was a stinker but overall a good night of boxing.

    I didn't realize that Hall was 47
This fight is not a good idea considering his age and what happened against SBW. I think Hall easily would've been the best crossover fighter since Mundine if he had gone pro right after he retired from AFL. He is a much better boxer than Scott but Scott is young, tough and aggressive I wouldn't be surprised to see Barry get blasted out early.

Spanian's hooking me up with a free ticket ringside! Can't wait! Jokes. He should do a fight he'd actually make a **** load of money with his back ground, fame and contacts. I'd actually go watch him fight.

    Names and notoriety sell.

He was going to have a fight but he got offered to good a deal to make videos around the world so he did that because he couldn't focus 100% on training. Also I doubt he would pass a drugs test these days he has put on some size I don't think he is all natty LOL.

Since Hall was sacked from his radio job in 2018 he has struggled financially. That's why he fought Gallen and SBW. Hall and a business associate now have stakes in a gin distillery. The business is only about 12 months old. Perhaps they are running short of collateral?

Yeah Bazza retired in 2011. Even missing 7 games from that season with ankle problems in a middling team he still managed to finish inside the top 6 or 7 goalscorers for the season. And had a much better average than a lot of them considering he had less game time.

Imagine him dedicating 6 months around that time just to recuperating his injuries and then gradually building up his boxing fitness. A few fights under his belt he would been a real menace.

He actually had good hand speed and a good kit of punches against Gal. Probably just didn't have the confidence in himself or his gastank at the time because of the lack of rounds.

I don't feel great about him fighting again at this age.

JAI OPETAIA has conquered the world a went through hell to do so.
he's the most likeable guy in the sport.
he seems like the most gentle human outside the ring.
if ever there was a sportsman that the general public would love he's surely it.

his management should have had him on every morning tv and radio program in the country etc. but i wonder if many of the general public even know who he is.

    what do u think?

Disappointing. That would have been the fight of the night.

No use going in when it isn't fully healed though.

Yep, 47 years far too old especially after being KO'd last fight.
