    And then we have Povetkin.
Olympic gold medalist and who's only loss was against one of the longest reigning champion in a contest which could equally have resulted in a DQ win.

Then add Parker (resume wise comparablyäe to wilder at the time, now way ahead including a win against him) and Pulev.

And also, Joshua went 3-0 against them, not 2-0-1.

    Regional champion LOL

Your bias is sad and apparent. That's the only thing you've cleared up. You bash an Olympic bronze medal, yet fail to mention that Joshua should have been out of the games in the first round and received further hometown gifts through the games.

The truth is Eddie and Joshua were brewing "the fight of the century" for HALF A DECADE against the man you call a "regional champion". Joshua got slapped up by fat Andy and ruined the whole deal. Fury came in and against all odds decimated Wilder.

Now Wilder is a "REGIONAL CHAMPION". The same folks who try to boost Joshua for performing better against Wallin and the MMA fighter never seem to mention that a REGIONAL CHAMPION performed better than Joshua against Helenius and Breazeale. Funny, huh.

The first time Joshua tried to go overseas and fight he choked and quit. Sounds pretty regional to me.

IMO it’s obvious Fury’s achievements far outshine AJ’s, and the only thing dissecting and ruminating on resumes can do is cloud that fact. Fury has been champ for nearly 10 years while AJ was paper champ for about 2 years until Ruiz decapitated him.

40 year old former champions are not much better than B level fighters at that point in their careers. They may know more, but the ability to execute isn't the same.

I can give you Whyte if you're desperate for it. It's not really going to swing the balance in Fury's favour.

You know exactly who the ancient middleweight is. Talking about life and death.....

Cunningham knocked Fury down sure, but Fury knocked him out cold not long afterwards. Not sure why this fight is used against Fury so much when AJ got TKO'd by Ruiz who's probably a bit shorter but three times as wide.

And look, I'm not trying to be bias here. I think in terms of depth to resume AJ has done better in the past (not so much since his loss to Usyk) but in terms of achievement AJ falls short. Fury has dethroned two long reigning world champions in their respective backyards, and has won every belt there is to win. The only man on the planet better than him at this stage is Usyk.

Two 40 year olds and Joseph Parker (who went on to lose to Whyte who Fury beat without taking a shot).

Helluva resume of 40 year olds.

I think it is. Fury beat Wlad and Wilder.

But it also depends on what you like. Wlad looked better vs AJ than he did vs Fury and Wilder hasn’t beaten anyone of note.

All depends on what you like

4 losses now for Joshua and stopped twice, both in humiliating fashion against complete underdogs.

When you are fighting a lot of top guys, this is inevitable. He deserves credit for fighting everyone.

Fury would probably have more losses too, if he actually fought other champions and top contenders. He barely beat Wilder twice.
I doubt anyone on Fury´s resume would beat Joshua, par Wilder. And well, of course Usyk.
