Joshua would always have beaten Wilder, his boxing ability and power were always too much for Wilder who hasn’t ever faced a decent fighter except the ones he’s lost to.

Joshua KOs Wilder within 4 rounds

I believe I addressed the point above.

To reiterate though, it's not Wilders or Ruiz's chin that's relevant. It's the fact that if AJ tries to knock either of them out he'll get caught on the way in. Despite Wilders relatively poor opposition there's no denying his power, and while AJ has an OK chin it's not great either.

I think his aim will be the winner of Hrgovic-Dubois for IBF mandatory. That could land him a title shot next year, depending on how things pan out.

That's not a fact, simply a possibility. Which actually applies to pretty much any boxer. And of course Wilder's chin is relevent. If Wilder is as gun shy w/ AJ as he was Parker, it's him whose getting slept.

Parker fought a game plan that AJ simply can't replicate. I don't buy that Wilder is shot, (though I could be eating my words tomorrow) it was more a case of Wilder being unable to pin down an elusive Parker.

There was a time I favoured AJ to win back in the day. I just don't see it anymore to be honest. Power is the last thing to go, and AJ is overconfident as he's been fighting lesser opposition as late. Recipe for disaster.

Of course anything could happen and I hope we get to see this fight sooner rather than later.

He doesn’t need Parker’s gameplan. Did Parker and Fury have the same game plan? Nope. There’s more than one way to beat a guy.

Wilder is the one whose looked worse of late, not AJ. He had plenty of opportunity to pull the trigger against Parker, but mentally, he wasn’t there. And while he’ll have power, being gun shy against a much better technical boxer in AJ, as well as him having a big punch too, can be very bad for Wilder. But that’s IF he gets past Zhang anyway. Not even 100% on that one.

AJ looks good lately because he's fighting lesser opposition, so I'm not really convinced until he steps it up a notch.

Their most recent, comparable performance is Helenius. Wilder took him out in the first round and it took AJ 7.

Parker didn't leave any openings for Wilder to exploit. He kept off the centre line and when he went on the offensive he kept too close for the right hand to do too much damage. AJ marching in trying to replicate Fury will only get him knocked out.

Being a better technical boxer won't save AJ because he will eventually get hit. Wilder has faced better boxers and landed on them all except Parker.

Do you always keep shifting the goal posts when being proved wrong?

AJs the better overall boxer, but Wilder brings some shards of kryptonite with him that makes this such a compelling matchup.

I have to favor AJ by brutal KO but Wilder a very live and dangerous underdog.

Nah. I think AJ could hurt Wilder bad enough with one punch that would render Wilder harmless enough to finish.

People act like the timing hasn't been right.
Wilder asked for the fight after Parker. He clearly wanted it before then (after Fury) as it's the biggest fight for him.
AJ and Hearn have been avoiding Wilder for years now, it's pretty obvious.

Franklin, Helenius, Wallin, TBA ... all while talking about Wilder here and there to pretend they want it.

Now Usyk has the belts they'll probably be looking to steal them off him so I doubt they'd fight Wilder before that. If they do, it'll be because Wilder looks even more declined. It doesn't mean anything now anyway, they clearly ducked him until he was almost forty. So even if they fight him now, it's clearly not the same Wilder.
