I would like to see Usyk retire. He's getting on now and has had a great career. The first fight was competitive but not one which really warrants a rematch. Why do it? Usyk doesn't owe Fury anything... And he certainly doesn't need to be getting back on the Fury merry-go-round of agreeing a date, it being pushed back, Fury getting injured etc etc Best just to close the show and walk away into the sunset, let AJ and Fury fight for the scraps left on the table

Nonsense. AJ got beat more decisively and got a rematch, Fury's earned his.

Get the feeling the sentiment would be different from many of you if Fury scrapped a win.

I don't really see the need for these rematches with Usyk, tbh, from both Fury and AJ. I would far rather they all moved on. Yes Furys fight was closer. But he still lost fairly decisively. And I would argue the same if Usyk lost by the same margin - it's going over old ground IMO. Fury wasted enough of everyone's time by not taking the usyk fight much sooner. Let's not have to wait even longer before we can all move on...

As confident as I am in Usyk handling Fury with ease in the rematch, my only concern is that any outcome besides a dominant victory for him (ie a clash of heads opening a cut leading to a NC, or a TD scored a draw) will open the door to a trilogy, meaning Usyk's schedule will essentially be tied up with Fury well into 2025.

I still Fury has a good chance because of his reach, but it will be another great fight and I hope Usyk wins, Fury will not win by stoppage though, Usyk was outboxed easily till Fury got dropped, and Fury took the last two rounds off.

No he didn't. He ducked him for 2 years and wasted everyone time. He also ducked Klitschko rematch.

AJ never ducked anyone. And to be fair he also didn't deserve a rematch. But AJ was at least willing to step aside and allow Unification between Fury - Usyk. But confirmed Fury ducked this, as he wanted another warm up.

    Nice try.

I didn't say anything about ducking. If you're not going to actually add something relevant to the discussion then don't bother quoting me.

You seem hell bent on not seeing big fights made. Sad.
