I really love the little movements Vicente Saldivar gave when he was punching. He could do these tiny little moves out of the way of the body of many counter-punches when he was throwing and I always admired that. The head movement that gets the most admiration is flashy, dippy, side-to-side while moving in, and I get that, but Vicente did headmovement like everything else he did, with subtlety and purpose.

    I do not know.
But I've never seen a boxer of any weight class lower his head to knee level like Mike Tyson did in his fight with James "Quick" Tillis.

The original Tyson, with his peekaboo defense, was amazing...

I can’t think of a single fight where he maintained it for more than a few rounds.

This is it nowadays. Show me the fighter who could slip a punches or punches with minimal head movement and be in position to counter and indeed do just that. Amazing slipping and swaying and dipping is somewhat wasted if you don't take advantage of it at regular intervals.

Early on for a heavyweight he was amazing. He barely got hit clean at all during a bunch of consecutive fights. It was crazy.

Young Griffo. He made fools of legends at times and could scarcely be asked to train seriously.

Don't say that in front of my man Antman whatever you do. It bothered him for weeks.
