Ray Ford is a weird one. He should have 2 losses already on one against Edward Vazquez who gave Cordina a tough fight in November. Kholmatov was the favourite to beat him and was up on the cards and then Ford somehow stopped him in the final round on an away Top Rank show.

He was Hearn and Matchroom’s first American world champion they took from debut but unfortunately for them he’ll lose his title tonight to Nick Ball.

Surprised Ford is the favourite to be honest.

 

Why are we only on the second fight of the night?

This is going to be a 1:30am job isn’t it?

 

Should get at least two stoppages though hopefully.

 

Ball is actually going with the “butcher” nickname - hopefully he makes mince meat of Ford!
