Mexico has around 115 World Champiosn if you add Mexican Americans around 140
Not bad for a country that realy didnt get into boxing until the 70's

I saw Morales backpedal against Pac....and Marquez? His whole game is built on backpedaling.....ditto on MAB's rematch against Pac. And these guys are supposed to be three of Mexico's "toughest".

 

He is talking about the most part. They also have Chavez, Margarito, and Andrade who have sick ****ing chins.

 

All my favourite fighters presently and through Boxing history have mainly been Mexicans. I think they are wonderful.

Crisitian Mijares, Juan Manuel Marquez, and Antonio Margarito are my current favourite fighters. It's something about their style and attitude that just automatically makes me a fan.

I saw that Alfredo Angulo on an undercard a few months back, and he really impressed me too. I think he will be a fighter for the future.

Mexicans seem to dominate the lower weights.

 

Watch out for Victor Ortiz and Abner Mares too. Both are great prospects. :thumbsup

UK & Ireland produce some very tough fighters (tougher than the USA but USA beats us on overall boxing skills)

Eastern European Countries produce some tough mother****ers as well
