Self explanatory. Dubois, who I always though stunk, has elevated himself with the wins over Miller and Hrgovic. Now, I always thought Miller and Hrgovic stunk too, but there is no doubt that Dubois has put himself in the position of being a top 5 contender. That particular feather in Usyk's cap just got a bit heavier, and gives lie to the 6-7 trolls who wan't to harp on the champ's heavyweight record. If Usyk wants to make money, he can do it off Dubois in a rematch. If he wants to add to his legacy, he can abandon that IBF belt in favor of fights with Parker and the Wilder-Zhang winner. The higher Dubois rises, the more it pushes him up. He should hope Dubois holds the IBF belt for ten years.
The Dubois win now does look better with hindsight. Dubois proved many people wrong including myself, while he's still crude, he now has that grit and determination and he does seem to be improving.
Yeah but he is dirty asf. In a fair sport he was getting a DQ. There was 20-30 headbutts. That ain't boxing. Frank Warren fighters somehow always get paid referees and judges.
There wasn't any dirty fight by Hrgovic. I was surprised by Hrgovic. Andwe are not talking about 1 or w headbutts, but more in the range of 20-30. This was 100% intentional. Just like his low blow approach against Usyk. Its all from his dirty scumbag trainer don Charles. Headbutts has no business in any martial arts. If this was in thw UFC, Dubois was getting DQed by the 3rd round. And i like Dubois, always liked him, but he needs to leave this dirty cheating tactics.
Yeah i rate Dubois and he just prove, if nothing else that he have solid chin. And Usyk KO him with a jab. To be fair i will favor Dubois to spank Fury big time.
