Expected better from Wilder tbh. Well done to Zhang, he's got monster power just needs to work on his stamina.

Looks like we're getting AJ v Dubios now.

Poor sod got put in with what is on paper his ultimate nightmare

Even if that was 2018 Wilder, Zhang would give him fits. 280 pounds of right hooks & left hands?

The punch Wilder threw that got countered was absolutely awful. Time to retire.

He was never any good to begin with it. Fury resume goes down once again.
I thought Wilder going to KO AJ... Joke of the year.

He will get fed to Anderson later this year. A passing of the (hype) torch.

Yeah, and in the meantime, those who always knew he was as fraud and a criminal can indulge in a little schadenfruede

It will be interesting to see Fury fans start to go out of their way to defend Wilder's legacy and claim he was better than we think. They simply have to as he means so much for Fury's own legacy.

He should have called it after the Fury fight. Surely there are no more money fight for him after the Zhang KO.

Yeah, this is a good analysis.

My heart goes out to him a bit... all the "BombSquad" nonsense was just marketing -- ticket-selling bravado. He got into the game to pay family med bills. I wish him nothing but success in his next chapter.

it’s gonna be the Danny Williams circuit for old Deontay

“…but dat right hand” will make him viable prospect fodder for years, racking up the red Ls on boxrec

Fraud in what sense? He was never a great boxer but was a devastating puncher. He was a long reigning champion and made decent money. Even if you don't rate Wilder highly, he was one of the top heavyweights of his era.

Yes, he should. He's too old to learn how to incorporate anything else into his game. Plus, I heard he was gun shy, telltale sign of a shot fighter.

Questions should have been asked when he struggled against Charlie Z.
