Not even convinced Ortiz was all that good in the first place his resume ain't much better than Wilders

If he screams BOMB SQUAD in an inapproriate area, the Feds will slap some bracelets on and cart him away.

At least he has plenty of $ to make bail :sisi1

If he kayos DDD or Hrg next, Zhāng is the clear #2 heavyweight and the only viable contender for Usyk after the Fury rematch.

Wilder likely isnt shot and not as past it as most are saying, but you saying that a fighter that relies almost exclusively on his explosiveness and TIMING is the same after savage back to back beatings and being an inactive 38 year old, that hes the same as he was when he was a fresh undefeated active champion, is even worse.

Its basic logic and reasoning that todays Wilder almost certainly isnt as good as he was just 4 years ago.

Beatings matter. Age matters. Activity matters.

I think a lot of it was the lack of Heavyweights from The US they are desperate to get behind someone that is also why Wilder was so protected so they could milk him all the way.

On the bright side it means will are still due a decent Heavyweight to come out of the US

I agree Wilder beats Parker in his prime but come on.

Wilder was behind on the cards against Ortiz and on the receiving end of a virtual shutout. Parker would outbox him for a stretch for sure

Wilder s chin was fine. Did you not see the punishment he took from Fury in that third fight before going down?

His durability tonight is definitely not what it once was

No hate from only facts name the fighters he beat that was leggit top 10 fighter contenders and not bloated rankings from WBC to keep causal fans thinking the USA had a super star his best win is Ortiz and his resume is easily picked apart

If he was still fighting the same fighters he built his record on we would see him look like a KO monster still.

100% him looking worse now is more to do with fighting top 10 boxers rather than bums than him being shot I mean even fighting bums he was outboxed a lot of the time until he landed
Difference is he did not need to worry about what was coming backat him then, in his last 2 fight he did so was more gunshy not like we never seen him stunned before against lesser fighters

Todays Wilder would not beat the Ortiz from Ortiz 1 and Im not sure he would dethrone the Stiverne that he fought in their first fight. He would likely do much worse in the first Fury fight as well.

And if you dont think Ortiz and Stiverne hit hard when he fought them, I dont know what to tell you.

Disagree. This is not the same Wilder for 3 reasons:

    1. Age - he's 38. That's well past any boxer's prime. (yes, i know zhang is 41.)

    2. The Fury Trilogy - Those 2nd and 3rd fights were all-out wars, and Wilder took serious damage. (So did Fury, i'd say.)

    3. Malik Scott as his new trainer - the guy blows as a trainer.

He landed that "one punch" multiple times on glass-chinned Szpilka. Szpilka had to leap into a perfectly-timed right hand to get knocked out.
