So, this is spiralling out. You're getting so desperate here that you have to falsely suggest I've said anything like he could take on Usyk, Fury or AJ? Ffs.

Again, and for the last time, I don't agree with you that he should give up trying to get fights with top 10 guys and get to a better position. Maybe he wont succeed, but I sure don't think it's a hopeless endeavour. And I don't see why you're so religiously sure of your predictions when you, like the most of us, don't seem to have predicted last night's result or Parker's recent win streak.

That's what I've said and that is what you for some reason reacted to. Nothing that in any honest way can be construed he like he's on Usyk's level. What's wrong with you?

So that's all the time I'm going to give you. Since you're quite a waste of it it seems, unfortunately.

If it was just one loss in a vacuum? Then no.

But it wasn't one loss, was it?

It was a loss coming off the heels of fights against journeymen while we heard ad nauseam from Hrgovic fans, Hrgovic's camp, and Hrgovic himself, preaching to whoever would listen that he was the boogey-ist boogeyman to ever get down and boogey since the boogeymen first started to boogey. Everyone was ducking Hrgovic from AJ to Fury to Usyk to God Himself. A career of uninspired performances where his best punch was of the, shall we say, "Leporidae" family, had the cream of the crop running scared, hiding in the hills, source "trust us, bro."

He's had two step-up fights against world-level heavyweights, and he got the **** beaten out of him in both. Zhang at least had a bad enough gas tank where Hrgovic was able to get a "win" (and I use the most obnoxious quotations possible to express my contempt of THAT particular decision), but this time he was beaten bloody by a guy he made fun of, mocked, said wasn't on his level, and cited sparring stories of how Dubois should be embarrassed to even show up.

Oh, and the fact that his opponent was Daniel Dubois, a fighter who has shown ZERO ability to deal with a consistent, stinging jab, something the Boogeyman of Boogeymen with his boogeyman amateur career should have been able to put out most boogeyman-aly. Instead, I have to hear people cry about headbutts in defense of a rabbit-puncher. Blow me.

...okay, does it HAVE to be the end? Put a gun to my head no...no it doesn't. Get rid of Ronnie Shields in favor of someone who knows what he's doing, get back to fundamentals, stop wasting your time with journeymen, and actually IMPROVE. And for the love of all that is holy; stop with the boogeyman nonsense. No one was scared of you, you weren't dangerous, you weren't a threat, you were just worth no money in a division whose top guys are getting up there in age and are on limited time.

Hrgovic needs to rebuild and can. One loss is not the end of the world.

He’s a heavyweight aligned with Matchroom in a period where Saudi are throwing money at boxing

It would be ****ing stupid to retire after 1 loss.

A lot of money still up for grabs. Put the graft in the gym in for a few more years and line your pockets.

Mark De Mori deserves a rematch, and it would rebuild Hrgo's confidence. Make it happen!

He arguably won 5 of the 6 scored rounds. But no his poor conditioning and Dubois' incessant headbutting made the difference.

I'm not denying that. I just think poor conditioning and Dubois' illegal tactics were the primary reasons behind him losing. There's no question that he has more talent than Dubois - Whether or not he can regroup and sort out some of the major issues he has and make the most of his talent is another matter all together.

Put him in against another dethroned paper tiger Makhmudov. That'd be worth watching.

Talent alone is not enough to reach the top. You need heart, will, fitness and a game plan. I didn’t see any of that from him and never have.
I’m got hoed into on this site for my criticism of him before this fight and all I really said is that he hasn’t done enough be called this big scary monster that all the top guys are ducking. Does anyone still believe he was ducked by fury, aj, Parker, Frazer, Ali, pretty much every boxer who fought?

You have to applaud the Saudi's there making the best fight the best, boxing for years has been about padding a record, look at Filip Hrgovic record around Zhang there bums with good records, what that does is make the boxer look better then what they actually are.

When I watched him beat Mark De Mori I thought two things,
    1. This guy isn't as good as what everyone thinks
    2. This guys padding his record with good record bums

Surprise Surprise his found out against the next good guy he fight, that being said if he was to fight the Top 10 I would think he'd win say 7 of them, when boxers fight the best what happens? They take losses.
