Yeah it was weak, but this is worse
Also tyson reigned late 80s, so go learn about boxing before you debate it

You're always constantly banging on non-stop about 'weak eras' (always when ex soviet whites are champs). And I disagree.

I'm just waiting for you to just once talk about a weak era when Blacks were champs. Come on, balance it out.

LOL the fantastic athletes from the Soviet Union countries such as boxing powerhouses Ukraine and Russia weren't able to turn pro then. So how could it possibly be weaker? Mike Tyson never faced a single ex soviet in his life.

It was a pass the parcel division of absolute bums like Berbick, Tucker, Douglas. You cannot get any weaker than that. Yet you never talk about that one :)

Dude you said tyson reigned in the 90s, you are a kid and a newb

You just outed yourself as clueless. Mike Tyson is the second most famous boxer ever and you didn't know he reigned in the 80s

He did win 2 titles in the 90s, but I'm sorry it wasn't early 90s like you commented above. He was incarcerated in the early 90s and didn't fight again until 95 I believe

Well at least you learned something today
    Have a nice day ;)

@AdamT I certainly know his reign in his so called 'prime' ended by getting knocked out by the one and only Buster Douglas right at the start of the 90's :)

    Better than Usyk? :risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3::risas3:

Fury almost lost to an MMA fighter and Otto Wallin. Hes not on Terence Crawfords level at all.

I agree with you. Even after the Usyk vs Fury fight I still would rank Crawford and Inoue ahead of Usyk.

People are forgetting that Fury looked terribly vs Ngannou and is past his prime.
Crawfords win over Spence is significantly better than anything Usyk has ever done.

As far as the weight disadvantage goes obviously the more you move up the less weight matters because its a lower weight percentage of your body.

Also heavyweights and cruiserweights have a huge gas tank deficiency which lower weight fighters don't have and a huge skill deficiency most of the time.

To Usyks credit he doesnt have either and is certainly an ATG who is certainly worthy of being considered the number 1 P4P fighter in the world

I know that im in the minority with my opinion but I still believe Terence Crawford is the best boxer pound for pound in the world right now

Its ok for people to disagree.

I agree with this. They do tend to get overrated on this site but to be fair they are underrated in real life so maybe thats why people on here go the other way to combat this

A lot of these people who say that Usyk is the best by far are the same people who were saying that Lomcahenko is the best boxer of this generation and potentially best of all time a few years ago. Theyve just jumped ship to a different Ukrainian southpaw

I think Usyk is number 3 myself. Im not anti anything. Lomachenko is my favorite fighter right now.

Some people dont think Usyk is number 1. Its ok. No need to psychoanalyze everyone. People just have a difference of opinion.

Maybe had Usyk stopped Fury or at least dominated him I'd have him at number 1

Fight was very competitive. Much more than people on here want to let on.

All those things are kind of true

Especially in the case of Klitschko and Golovkin

I think Mike Tysons career at heavyweight is better than Usyk

Usyk does have 3 wins better than every Mike Tyson win but Mike Tyson had a very long career at heavyweight with a lot of good wins

Usyk only has 6 fights at heavyweight.

    Both ATG

They both dominated for far too long, and beat everyone (especially Klitschko) to be criticised. It's just hating, and usually a case of you not liking the race or nationality of the fighter that dominated.

When a fighter is that good and that dominant, he makes the other fighters look bad. Wladimir Klitschko won Olympic Gold at super heavyweight aged just 20 years old, he was a very special fighter from start to finish.
