Ruiz is back in August for a match against Jarell Miller, which will go down in the history books as one of the fattest matches ever, but probably be an easy win for Andy.

Should he be successful, would anyone want to see a rubber with Joshua? For al the **** he gets, I think it is now clear with the disintegration of Fury's resume that Joshua now has easily the second best in boxing, and I think he could do himself some real good physiologically by going back and making it 2 out of 3 against the guy who first derailed his career.

No one wants to see this. Ruiz was a one-hit wonder against an insecure AJ, who fought stupidly in that fight. Jab and stay at a distance and AJ easily gets the victory.

It was actually a legit fluke, AJ secured a flash knockdown, he wrongly assumed Ruiz was hurt which he wasn't and went in for the kill and got caught.

It wasn’t a “flash knockdown” as Joshua nailed him good. Ruiz can take a punch and is a natural fighter, which Joshua is not. Ruiz is from the Barrio while Joshua was fed with the silver spoon. If Ruiz takes it seriously I’d love to see a third fight.

Joshua would just get on his bike for 12 rounds again like he did in the rematch. He's felt Ruiz's power and doesn't want to feel it again.

This and AJ was normally more careful after he had people hurt I think he was a bit caught up in trying to look good in the US

Wouldn't be much point in the 3rd fight now I think the lifestyle of Ruiz has caught up to him his is now getting g knocked down by people with a lot less power than AJ . Ruiz struggles to make if past round 3 at this point against AJ

No as I said in another thread Ruiz is irrelevant now he had his big moment and decided to throw it away by not even attempting to make an effort to get in shape vs Joshua in the rematch coming in even heavier...

Hes been far too inactive since the Ortiz fight and has basically halted any momentum but not staying active.

That ship has definitely sailed I have no interest in seeing Andy Ruiz fight anymore.

Not on a bum but not on AJ's level, it was a fluke win.. AJ got careless when he knocked him down.. AJ wins that 9/10 times.

Doesn't interest me really, tbh. I think AJ righted the wrong, as it were. And showed he was capable of beating him. If Ruiz had made himself a more compelling player in the heavyweight division since there would be an argument for it. But he's kind of squandered his momentum and has become a bit of a forgotten man.

Utterly pointless, we all know Ruiz only won the first fight because he was a late replacement and Joshua simply took his eye off the ball and so rightly got KO'ed. The rematch proved a focused and properly prepared Joshua is on another level.

Also what has he done lately that even warrants him getting a shot at the cash cow of the division again? He's spent the last couple of years cheating on his wife and getting divorced while pricing himself out of fights against Fury and Wilder. He's totally irrelevant right now, he needs to work his way back into the mix again and prove he isn't a spent force because he's done nothing since struggling with a 43 year old Ortiz almost 2 years ago.

Ruiz should fight someone like Anderson or Kabayel to re-establish himself. He simply doesn't deserve a shot right now at any of the top heavyweights.

Outside of Usyk and Kabayel I think stylistically Ruiz poses the toughest challenge for AJ. I still think AJs wins.

Ruiz has fought Joshua and really no one else. 5 years after he beat Joshua he has done so little. Has he done much? Joshua and Wilder and Fury and Usyk have fought and we have seen how they do stylistically and Ruiz has done what? I hate to be critical but why has he not made anything happen with other fighters?
