So why should Fury have been favored over Usyk earlier or Wilder over Parker and Zhang?

Fury did what he was supposed to do against Wilder. Fury won the first fight then shattered Wilder's Glass Jaw in the two other fights.

America barely gives a **** about boxing, let alone who the HW champion is.

Was Wilder even popular in the U.S.?

With that said, at one point the best two HWs were Fury and Wilder.

Joshua was getting KTFO by Tubby.

Zhang and Parker might disagree, Usyk too. Wilder never fought Ruiz, had he lost that argument falls apart

The World where Ortiz already ranked as no1 by the WBA was then named as mandatory challenger for the winner of the WBA IBF and IBO fight between Joshua and Klitschko. Ortiz after signing with Haymon was signed up for a title fight with Wilder but failed a WBC drug test after not declaring heart medication to VADA and served a one year suspension. This suspension also led to the WBA dropping him from there rankings however after paying a fine he kept his ranking with the WBC eventually getting the fight with Wilder after defeating Martz. Brezeale at the time of the Wilder fight was the WBC mandatory with one loss to Joshua three years prior .

There's nothing on Breazeale's win resume to suggest he was ever world class. The WBC making him mandatory doesn't change that.

Ortiz never done anything to be in the discussion he was a fake boggie man created to give Wilder a name on his record and like all of Wilders title defenses had an infladed rating probably paid for by daddy Haymon Wilder is trash even one he ever beat including Ortiz was even worse trash no matter how much you want them not be it's not going to change the truth and you know that

Breazeale was good enough to get himself two World title shots .

I’m not trying to change anything Ortiz was ranked as he was long before he signed with Haymon.Source to Ortiz inflated rating paid for by Haymon, thanks for your reply .

Feels pretty unfair on Fury tbh

He was a fat mess who got back in there with a feared undefeated hard hitting, albeit lacking in skill reigning world champion, after two sloppy Comeback fights against bums.

Noone thought Fury was going to beat him..

What are the quality wins he scored to earn the shots because as far as I can see they simply don't exist.

There have been plenty of undeserving challengers so that hardly seems like a good argument.
Jean Pierre Coopman and Chuck Wepner both received title shots, so did Richard Dunn. I wouldn't qualify any of them as top 10 material.

In 2019 I would pick the following guys over Breazeale
    Fury
    Zhang
    Bakole
    Wilder
    Whyte
    Rivas
    Ortiz
    Ruiz
    Joshua
    Parker
    Kabayel

to name a few. That's more than 10

Possibly the most **** drivel nonsense anyone's yet approached me with here.

Bermaine Stiverne achieved being a champion of a major title.

Siarhei Liakhovich achieved being a champion of a major title.

Luis Ortiz being a world champion of a major title.

    Kubrat Pulev achieved international titles.

But keep telling yourself Pulev did something buddy.

What wins did Stiverne get to put himself into a position to challenge for the WBC title in the rematch?

Stiverne's only quality win is Arreola, how does that put him level with Pulev?
